I've never seen the Gloom Hands spawn in and despawn so quickly lol

Oh yeah, Lynel’s can teleport. The Ploymus Mountain Lynel in Breath of the Wild did the same thing to me.

Stephen, the reason the lines of hearts don't match is because you can actually have 40 hearts. You can choose to max out hearts over stamina (though I don't understand why anyone would want to). Anyway, if it's annoying to have the lines not matching, you could always eat a hearty meal that gives at least two extra hearts.

It’s weird they didn’t let us have max of each in this game because the intro proved it is possible.

0:54 Small worldbuilding detail; it's shown and stated in the game that the Upheaval really messed up Gerudo Canyon here, with the temperature being all whackadoo and parts of the path flooding. Well, this cave is part of that path, and does eventually connect with the path to the closed Gerudo Canyon Stable!
3:21 For anyone else who may have forgotten, they got the Yiga chestpiece from the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab, Robbie's place, upon visiting it in Akkala, as the Yiga had set down there, finding it to be a good base of operations.
6:22 This is a thing that happens! Mal's initial guess is correct--if Lynels get stuck in their pathing, they have a mechanic where they will teleport back to their starting position. It doesn't happen that often, but it _does_ happen, necessitating that they programmed in that function.
9:05 That was a Gloom Hand! It spawned, but almost immediately they confused its pathing and it gave up. (Gloom Hands have several assigned spawn locations in the overworld, but they found extremely few of them)
13:37 (From a completion standpoint, they are actually not even close to being done with caves, as "completion" also includes Bubbulfrogs and "geocaching" by visiting every unique cave. Both those actions go hand-in-hand; I know they didn't go for that, just pointing it out for the crowd)
16:18 (You give them to Kilton's brother Koltin, who gives you special armor and monster parts in exchange, though only up to a point; after which, though he has no more rewards to give, he pleads for you to find all the rest for him. Think of it literally like the Gold Skulltulas in OoT and you've got the general picture of it)
    26:01 (That was his horn)
26:30 Wells actually existed all over since BotW--but every time they were filled, and some had Korok Puzzles. TotK only spawned a handful of new ones, and gave them all the collective purpose of adding to the exploration tally.
29:50 _Nobody has ever cooked yellow-heart food_ (never mind the fact that it bothers me too and i just wanted to make the joke)
    *[TECH NOTES]*
7:19 Being candid here, Mal is referring to the Yiga Clan Hideout, which they never ended up visiting. Much like the tunnel base they attempted entering in this episode, they will not let you in without the full Yiga outfit--there's even a whole sidequest about it you can acquire at the front entrance, initiated by Mimos, the guy from the broken-heart pond in BotW. (Not to be confused with Mimo on Eventide Island) The Hideout, apart from containing casual Yiga NPCs you can converse with, houses a special battle gauntlet against Footsoldiers, and if you do well enough in it, you can earn a very special (and useful) piece of armor, and you can learn a secret attack that is unique to these games! Think of it like the Great Spin of this game, a la Wind Waker / Phantom Hourglass.

I'm kinda sad they actually finished the game and never went there (yiga hideout)

@@MilaNavi I was pretty bummed too that it didn't rank high enough on the list of viewer suggestions to make it in before the end.

Unless I'm mistaken, this was their first non-stable well and that is surprising to me.

9:00 would be fun to have Stephen and Mal revisit the moments when Chat went nuts while watching from the void

~9 mins: Yes, that was a gloom hands spawn. I was hoping you'd run into them when I realised where you were, and... well, you kinda did. But also, you didn't. :< They can't spawn randomly anywhere on the map; there's a few locations where they _might_ show up, like by the citadel ruins in Akkala or... well, that spot in Hyrule ridge. :P

One of the Koroks I missed was on a cliff by this Lynel I missed in Lindor’s Brow. As thorough as I tried to be, that was a tad annoying.
