    Very good review sir ... well done ... it's nice to see the details as well as the overall layout.
    Your English is very good, so no need to apologise for that.
    Azimut is leaving its competitors like Princess and Sunseeker behind mainly in the areas of innovation and quality ... WELL DONE!

      No chance azimut is higher quality than princess! Sunsqueeker yes!! Don't no were you got that info! The top European builders are princess, ferritti, sanlorenzo, Riva and pershing! Azimut yachts quality has dropped of heavily in the last 5 to 10 years! Go to channel aquaholics and his walkthrough of a new azimut 72 fly at a boat show and listen when he walks down the stairs to lower cabins! When you see it remember it is a brand new 2020 boat at a yacht show! Its astonishing they would put out trash quality in a new vessel at a yacht show! So no azimut are no were near princess quality! Princess are at the top but you do pay for it! And you only get what you pay for! These carbon tables azimut use are cheap in reality and exaggerate there real quality when it comes to the structure of there modern yachts!

    My big thing on all of the larger yachts - utilize things to ; absorb vibration , stop excess sound , movement and vibration .
    I have a 42 which is gorgeous but to many things are high quality but more build for home abs vibration , novice etc tears it apart !!

      I’m not impressed. There is a lot of cheap features.
      And this always bothers me about these yachts. Why don’t they come standard with sea keepers? That always blows my mind

  • @stefamondo
    @stefamondo 5 років тому +2

    Congratulations, great explanation of every single feature.
    I just try to suggesto one thing: for a boat that has a so great handling, and that probably will be ran without crew by the 99% of owners... why not make a second version without the bow crew cabin, moving everything and gaining room to move the kitchen downstairs? The living room would gain so much air without the kitchen..

    • @JohnSmith-zo6ir

      I prefer the galley up as would most people so that your other half and friends can be in the galley and still part of the social activities and conversations instead of cooking below on their own.
      My house is the same layout for the same reason. My family room is open plan to the kitchen. You don't want to stick the cook in a dungeon below.

  • @cordobes
    @cordobes 5 років тому +3

    Lovely boat, Azimut/Ferretti is still unrivaled in terms of interior design and some of those details are wonderful. That said, I'm a true believer galley up forward is the most underwhelming solution: doesn't offer the galley aft connection with the cockpit(+saloon) while one still risks traumatizing the slipping neighbours by waking up and going straight to the a glass of milk (oh and no full size fridge) - surely I'm not the only one allergic to dressing gowns at home/boat? - so none of the advantages of a galley down below. A layout that makes sense in well-crewed boats, but not in owner-operated ones, imho. Yet so popular...

    • @davelowesky8054
      @davelowesky8054 3 роки тому

      You know what keeps blowing my mind? These yachts that don’t have the sea keepers as a standard option. It just makes them look so cheap and makes me question the true craftsmanship of the vessel being made...

    • @davelowesky8054
      @davelowesky8054 3 роки тому

      And it blows my mind they weren’t smart enough to design a properly functioning hood over the cooktop

    • @cordobes
      @cordobes 3 роки тому

      @@davelowesky8054 What do you mean not a standard option? Pretty sure Azimut will fit one without problems if you ask them to and pay for it.
      Of course, it's optional.

      S7 = ten feet more in length, sport bridge option, and four cabins (fourth cabin with L-shaped berths).

    • @gbsailing9436
      @gbsailing9436 5 років тому

      S7 is wider so the Jetski can go IN the garage (which opens downwards and is therefore bigger, and not upwards like the S6) not on the Swim platform. Longer hull means better planning efficiency.

    Azimut do most things well, but BBQ's is not one of them.
    Why on earth they never put a preparation space next to the grill to put down a dish of food that you are about to bbq is beyond me.
    They did the same on the Atlantis 51 which is on the transom with no grab handles either for safety.
    They want you to pay millions of dollars for a boat, but can't get the primary focal point of the entertainment space, the humble bbq, done properly ... very frustrating.
    Having said that, the 47 Verve has one of the best outdoor kitchens I have ever seen with a double bbq.
    Let's hope they use the 47 Verve's kitchen across all their boats for outdoor entertainment.

    • @bryduhbikeguy
      @bryduhbikeguy 4 роки тому +1

      The S8 had a TV behind the BBQ that raises up,and then pivots over the lid so you can't access it.Perhaps they don't know how they're used.No 'tailgate'parties on their ships.

      @@bryduhbikeguy The mind boggles at such stupidity. It starts to make you think about what else is wrong about their boats.

      It's not as crazy impractical as a Galeon. Someone with more money than sense is going to fall overboard from those fold down balconies, and all those heavy, motor driven, transformer toys and table arrangements are a joy to the original owner and expensive mechanical issues for subsequent owners.
      Azimut has some of that stuff; Europeans consider the TV an ugly distraction from the decor, while Americans often consider their electronics part of the decor. I'm not a big fan of it.
      Still, as an Italian line, Azimut is a bit better about elegance with practicality. Like a Ferrari, that steering wheel is more expensive than many people's cars.

    3 engines on a 60 footer; I'd tolerate the prospect of higher service costs and arguably more trouble on the S7, but I can't see the point of the S6.

    I am not a fan of the heavy, motor driven, transformer toys and furniture rearrangements. They are a joy to the original owner of the boat, and expensive mechanical issues waiting to happen for subsequent ones. Also, hiding the TV when not in use is, to me, more of a European thing. Most Americans consider their expensive electronics part of the room, not an ugly aberration to be shuffled out of sight like a court jester when the audience grows tired of his jokes.
    Still, compared to some of the excessive bells and whistles on lines like Galeon - someone *will* fall to thier death from those fold out balcony deck extensions - this isn't that crazy.

    Azimut have turned to total crap! If you look a little closer you can see why! For one the cheap exterior furniture cushions with cheap valcro is of horrible standards! Dont let the carbon table fool you its a trick to give the vessel a quality vibe! The interior seating is also exstreemly cheap! It is just cheap cushions on hard boards and if you look again its impossible to sit in the middle of that seating with table lowered! Only in the corners you can sit! That is the main saloon were you sit at night watching tv and talking and listening to music! Only 2 to 4 can fit unless you have table raised! So lowered as a coffe table is useless! This is a top of the line boat! Go look at the princess s60 same size as this and look at the difference! It has 2 times the interior space, same tender garage but quality furnishings and practical layout! When you look deeply this yacht is trash with some carbon pieces!! Its sad as azimut used to be a leader but now its owners are greedy and building cheap yachts at top prices!! R.I.P azimut!!
