Tree looks fabulous. I got a tip off tv. Apparently the big stores put their lights on big trees from top to bottom in zig zag. Done this on my tree last two years and works a treat 😊

My mothers christmas village had a mirror on its back surrounded by pillow ticking (snow) as the village square ice skating rink.
Aww I love that, I saw a little skating rink at the garden centre and loved it. I could spend a small fortune, I love them all :)

Thank you lovely, I've bought them over the years, generally from garden centres. They are Lemax ones :)
The tree is stunning...it will be sad when it comes down and you are back to grey...especially as it is so grey outside.
I know, it makes it feel so cosy :)
I find it easier to put tree up 1 layer at a time fluff branches then add lights then do next layer. It's much easier. Your tree is lovely.
