You only need to hold down the Power+Volume_Up buttons to enter Bootloader Mode on any OnePlus device. The addition of holding the Home button does nothing and is completely unnecessary. Also... Simply holding down the Power+Volume_Down buttons while the device is off, to enter Recovery Mode.
Some corners must be cut in order to offer a flagship-grade phone at a stealer's price. Compromises are inevitable, simple as that. OP in particular are yet to offer a truly dependent stock software. Hardware is great, but it's only half of the equation.

It goes in the boot menu and when I select the recovery mode option it blanks out again. when this happens the phone doesnt start at all. Please help me as to what can be done with this. well I like the XZ more because of the waterproofing and camera quality, but those are things that are important to me that not everyone cares about. If those features aren't important then OnePlus 3T provides better value for your money
