    dude Ryan i've been following your channel for a while now. you literally have one of the most underrated production channels i've seen. keep on killing it dude, this is all gonna pay off in big ways.
    also so cool to see you doing tracks like this, i originally came here for the electronic music but i grew up on this song hahaha, cool to see we have similar tastes.

      Thank you for the kind words man kind of needed some of that today. I'm feeling the need to quit my job finally and give it all a real shot. I only have enough money for rent for a couple months, but I know I'd be happier! I appreciate your taste as well sir. Definitely a great track 🙏

    Ryan your tutorials are outstanding buddy, but for the old farts like me with the eyesight of an average stick, could you make your Serum interface a bit bigger?

      Sorry about that I definitely need to make it bigger. My screen size does not help things. I'll try to remember!

    deadmau5 and Noah Shebib/40 on your channel - nice taste :D
    ...maybe you can check out Doing It Wrong by Drake/40 - I'd be very interested in your recreation approach, it is very simple but it fills the sonic spectrum and stereo image so perfect (sine wave approach with masterclass saturation/stereo imaging going on).
    I failed in the recreation process sonically and your opinion or even a remake version would be very interesting

      Thank you sir, right back at you haha. I just love great production, and you can't pretend that 40 isn't a great producer. I'll definitely check that one out! I'd love to dig into more of his sound design.

      @@RyanCossoffMusic True - he mentioned that he works a lot with sample rate degrading instead of classic filtering to get rid of his high end (kick samples for example) - if you did not know that already, there is an interesting interview with Native Instruments on UA-cam with him ...I experimented a lot with Ableton Redux since that - but I guess there are better ways

    • @RyanCossoffMusic
      @RyanCossoffMusic  Рік тому

      I remember him saying that as well. But I'm not sure how to downgrade the sample rate without it adding a bunch of high end artifacts. Does he filter those out after the fact?

    • @SecondUniverse101
      @SecondUniverse101 Рік тому

      @@RyanCossoffMusic I'm pretty sure he does, although I never heard him saying that - there is an internal Post Filter function inside Redux for that reason (at least in latest versions of Ableton 11, I think it was not always there in older versions of Redux...)

      Ahh for sure I'll check that out

    Do you have the serum preset for these to download?

      I need to work on collecting all these Presets and putting them somewhere. I'll try to get on that soon! At the moment it's just in the patreon project file
