Motherwell 1 Hearts 1 (Tynecastle) 1987 Scottish Cup Quarter Final

Scottish Cup 5th Round tie, 14th March 1987. Having disposed of Hamilton, the team who'd shocked Graeme Souness' Rangers at Ibrox in the 3rd Round, Motherwell travelled to Edinburgh with one eye on Hampden glory. John Robertson put the Jambos one up just before half-time, but Andy Walker soon had 'Well level. Wayne Foster somehow managed to stay on the park after banjoing Steve Kirk, and the tie went to a replay at Fir Park...where wee Robertson scored again to give Hearts a 1-0 victory.
