Hi pastor Doug, my name is Kera. This sermon had me crying a lot and it touched my heart, this sermon made me realize I'm not alone anymore. I'm 15 years old with no parents, i know my mother but she doesn't want me or my brother, i never met my dad. Growing up my brother was all i had...and its been 2 years since i last saw him, i had a very very bad childhood and i wasn't allowed to have anything to do with Christianity (my step father was a pagan) up until 5 years ago when DSS took me to live with my grandmother, who taught me about who God is. I just want to thank you for these sermons you make because they mean so much to me. Have a blessed day, Kera L.H.
And there's been a year first time I visited this site but I just want to encourage you that God can restore the years the locus is taken and you can be a great witness for Jesus as he convicts and converts you you pray for your dad your brother your mom cuz ultimately Satan tries to separate us and get us angry and upset so that we can't pray cuz our prayers scare him they make him run away see how power of the Lord on your side God bless you keep his face to shine on you amen.
Proverbs 3:5,6...Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your life. Continue to draw closer to God and He will draw closer to you, and continue to pray for the Lord to draw your parents and brother close to Him and to you, don't give up, sometimes we have to spend much time in prayer to God over certain situations. I have had to spend much time in prayer and fasting over trials in my life, but I tell you this fam, it was worth it. The Lord has worked miracles not only for me, but for my family as well. God bless you and I will pray for you. And remember God loves you more than you know and He wants the best for you!
God loves you, His dear child. He hears your prayers. May you take comfort in His love, and the peace He wishes for you. As you give Him charge over these things, and put your trust in Him each day, may you always know how much He loves you. Pray and seek His will in your life, and pray also for your brother. That God will heal him, and bring him back to you. Prayers are powerful and God hears your petitions. It is in His timing. Never cease to pray. And know that He wants to guide you to the plans He has for your life with Him. He has seen your heart and has helped you to be with your grandmother, I truly believe that. I have seen too many things in my own life not to know that He is in these things as He sees into the heart. May God richly bless you and your loved ones.

"God hears his people cry", is the title of your sermon today. I thought it quite ironic and very cute that while you're performing the baby dedication one of the babies was crying:)
My dog cries when I'm petting my other dog and not giving her attention or when she wants me to feel sorry for her. and her father sat at the door and cried for 2 weeks when his mom/ owner had died and didn't return. Literally, he sat at the door and had tears streaming down his face, and he didn't move except to go to the bathroom. I don't think he even ate for those 2 weeks but of course he drink water that they put next to him.

@@nyambsdeborah8954 We can choose not to sin. Our nature is inherently sinful and selfish. For example, we have to teach children not to throw tantrums or to share or not to be upset when everything doesnt go their way because they come out self centered. Also for example take this Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more: Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee; Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless. Philippians 3:4-6 Paul (as Saul) had chosen a life where the laws of God he says could find him blameless. That was even before coming to Christ. But sinlessness is not something people can use to save themselves. It only takes being guilty of one sin to deserve its penalty and in the eyes of God there really isnt one sin greater than another. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. -Romans 6:23 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. -James 2:10-11 That is why there is no amount of good deeds we can do to save ourselves and how our righteousness can be counted as filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6) and also why Jesus’ sacrifice means so much. He was perfect God but came to earth as a human whos nature is inherently sinful to resist all temptation and live a fully sinless life (Hebrews 4:15) so that we can claim His righteousness if we have faith in Him (John 3:16). Our ability to resist sin also comes from our faith in Him. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. -Philippians 4:13 When we align out will with the Lords will then we can stop the old sins and use His strength from the Lord that overcame sinful temptation in His earthly life to overcome it in out own. Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:1-2 We can choose whether or not we pick Christ/whether or not to sin with every decision and sometime we will fail like many in the Bible did after picking Jesus, but we know that He will forgive us when we repent and continue to work in our lives to give us the ability to overcome sin. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. -1 John 1:9
I mostly agree with you Pastor Doug but I DO think God can have AWE.. it is written that Jesus MARVELED at certain people.. in luke the centurion who said if you just say the words I KNOW my servant will be healed, I'm not worthy that you should be in my house... When Jesus heard these things, he MARVELLED at him, and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel... AND ALSO he MARVELLED at unbelif too. So Jesus himself could marvel in awe, he's God. I do agree that He never fears though :)
I once sent a prayer request to Amazing Facts group around 3 or 4 years ago because I was going through rough times. I got a very rude response from whoever received my request telling me I was being selfish to Jesus. “ rejoice with those who rejoice” but when it comes to “mourning with those who mourn” seems to be a burden to some christians.
Hello Sylvia, we are sorry to hear this! Never should a fellow Christian speak to another like that. If you wouldn't mind, could you share what group this was and where it was located? No prayer request is turned away by our heavenly Father. May God bless you, and you will be in our prayers. - The Amazing Facts team
@@PastorBatchelor I forgot but I think it was through 3ABN I discovered Amazing Facts but God saw me through that dark phase when I almost committed suicide .
I have a question for you: do you want to go to Heaven? Here's another: WILL you get there? Let me tell you 1. Whether you will go there and 2. If you find you're not on your way there, I'll tell you how to get there. Only two kinds of people get to Heaven: perfect people, and forgiven sinners. What is perfect? Well, not stealing regardless of how insignificant it may seem, not saying a single evil word against anyone - not to mention God sees our thought life. And like a judge in court, a penalty has to be paid when evil is done and laws are broken (e.g. if a murderer was let off in court there would be uproar so how much more God)? In short - we arent perfect, at all. And rather than Heaven, God, if giving us justice, will have to make us pay for our crimes by death and eternal damnation in an everlasting fire and torment. BUT: There is a way that we can be saved. Jesus - the Son of God - came down to live a perfect life without sin, conquering all evil and the devil's sinful, lustful traps that so easily ensnare us. Jesus overcame all of that, and then was sentenced to death on a cross. While on the cross, God poured out the anger and wrath of sin on His Son - getting Jesus to pay OUR fine of damnation, unbearable pain and being separated from God. EVERY single evil thought, word or deed that doesnt line up with God' perfection, every sin you ever have committed or will commit knowingly or unknowingly, Jesus took the complete, undiluted wrath for. And, like a fine in court, Jesus paying for it means that we can go free. Not just free, but we can experience God's love as all punishment was carried on the cross and crucified there for all who believe. He rose again on the third day, demonstrating His sovereignity and innocence and power over not just the sins of this life, but DEATH. GOD HAS POWER OVER DEATH. There will come a day when Jesus will return and those who died believing in Him will rise from their graves will go to Heaven, and those who rejected His salvation, message and teachings will suffer Hell to pay their deserved fines for all eternity without a second chance. He wants you to repent (turn away from your sin and pursue God's perfect intent for your life, striving in the opposite direction). This is your chance now. God has a plan for your life, a plan that involves you being recreated into the perfect moral image of Him as we were before the sin in the garden. He loves you and doesnt want you to suffer - Hw wants to show you mercy and show you what true love looks like. He suffered FOR you to set you free and you can walk in His strength, experiencing His love, being taught what it means to be part of His family. He loves you and wants you to have faith in Him, letting Him take the wheel of your life (dont forget, when you're doing God's will you're doing the will of perfect love - when you follow God you can be certain that you are never doing the wrong thing- imagine how cleansing that feels). What if I still sin when Ive accepted Christ's death and resurrection on my behalf? Thats why Christ died. For your SIN. When God looks at you, striving towards Him or even falling, He sees the righteous life of Christ covering you in place of your current, sinful reality. For those who strive to turn from sin, regardless of the pitfalls, God sees Jesus's life in place of your inability, and His blood so that yours will never have to be shed for your sin. Sound opposite? Thanks to our natural sinful nature, it likely does, but God knows our weakness and struggles and pitfalls with sin. THAT'S why He died for us. Just pray to God, tell Him you are struggling and are unsure - God can and will work with even the slightest desire within you to follow Him and be free from sin. Ask Him to make you willing - if you are willing to be made willing, pray for it, simply shut your eyes and talk to Him. When Satan knows people have left His camp, He will not take it lying down, He often tries harder with more trials and temptations but EVERY trial is Father-filtered, Satan cannot be anything beyond what God permits, and God will only allow things that will strengthen you or bring you closer to Him so long as you cling to Him and trust in the promises of His word. Where do I start to learn about God's plan and His promises to me? Well, I'd advise you to FIRST read Matthew (or Luke if you want a more detailed account). Do it in stages and try and imagine the events and miracles as they really hapoened - the Bible is a true account after all. And when you struggle and fall, kmow you can pray for forgiveness, dust yourself off again and get up because Jesus already bore our guilt and shame. God wants FAITH from us, not legalistic works and outward piety, but FAITH. The gospel is faith alone in Christ alone, Christ already lived that perfect life FOR us, but the fruits of the spirit "love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control" are what come through true maturing faith and a relationship with the conquerer and overcomer of the world and its sin. Trials come to strengthen us and produce these fruits overtime. Its a lifelong process of faith and striving alongside God, but remember that Jesus is the ultimate foundation, the reason we are given Heaven through His soon return in the first place. If you lack faith (as i did for a long time) pray. God wants honesty from us and is not angry when we come to Him and pray for faith. All it takes is a little - Jesus said all it takes is faith "as small as a mustard seed", the smallest seed in the world. God will take it - give it to Him amd ask Him to make it grow. He desires to, He wants to and He will give strength and faith to His children in time when they ask Him. So in short, WHEN - and note it says WHEN - we sin on our striving towards Gods will and life of love and service to others, Remember that God understands our faults and can sympathise with our weaknesses, He wants us to see, understand and walk in His perfect, unfailing love and strength rather than our own, because His love and His strength never fails. If you want to let Jesus into your life, even to help you to take the first step, then read through this prayer here once to get the gist of it and then just say it - trust God and give it all to Him because He has a plan. If you take a step - just a step - towards Him, He will take a step towards you. Dear God, I know that I am a sinner and there is nothing that I can do to save myself. I confess my complete helplessness to forgive my own sin or to work my way to heaven. At this moment I trust Christ alone as the One who bore my sin when He died on the cross. I believe that He did all that will ever be necessary for me to stand in your holy presence. I thank you that Christ was raised from the dead as a guarantee of my own resurrection. As best as I can, I now transfer my trust to Him. I am grateful that He has promised to receive me despite my many sins and failures. Father, I take you at your word. I thank you that I can face death now that you are my Savior. Thank you for the assurance that you will walk with me through the deep valley. Thank you for hearing this prayer. In Jesus’ Name. Amen xx
New SDA believer of about 2 months. Went to my first SDA church last sabbath... and they had Roman symbols all over. An upside down cross in a pyramid with flames was the main symbol. Any guidance? Has the local SDA church been romanized? Some members said they celebrate Christmas too.
Some people have been baptized but not really studied before. I always observe things, some are strange but our doctrines are the same. Some people will always do shady stuff, even Adventist, but you just have to be different and be an example for others. You can be years in the church and see things that aren’t in line with our beliefs. You can tell the leaders how u feel, and sometimes they’ll apply corrections sometimes they won’t. But, don’t worry keep The Lords commandments! Don’t let them deviate you from the truth. I’m Adventist, I’ve never had a tree, but I never condemn those who do, read Ellen white in what she had to say about Christmas! I never tell people off for doing Christmas programs for children. Ppl are going to church and thinking of Jesus during this period and you must be sensitive to others. There was a time where I would never answer those who said merry Christmas. But then my son was born disabled and we were put a ronald McDonald’s house on Christmas Eve. That night we got there, we were loved on and fed and given a room, and were given everything my other children needed as well as things for my newborn who was hospitalized. We overheard songs about Jesus Christ being born all through the house. All made possible from all that McDonalds Corp does for families who are undergoing terrible situations in the hospital Yet live far away and have nowhere to board. Let me tell you- I will never again ignore someone who says merry Christmas. At my house, it’s different though, as it should be in yours and ppl will be blessed by your obedience without any word from you.

"God hears his people cry", is the title of your sermon today. I thought it quite ironic and very cute that while you're performing the baby dedication one of the babies was crying:)

I know I'm late to this video, as it is Christmas Eve.... However I don't believe in coincidence. So.... Glory to Jesus Christ of Nazareth!!!
I get very embarrassed when people see me cry.
Carlos is the only one who knows enough to kneel in prayer. Carlos is Christlike!
Good moorning
My dog cries when I'm petting my other dog and not giving her attention or when she wants me to feel sorry for her. and her father sat at the door and cried for 2 weeks when his mom/ owner had died and didn't return. Literally, he sat at the door and had tears streaming down his face, and he didn't move except to go to the bathroom. I don't think he even ate for those 2 weeks but of course he drink water that they put next to him.
God bless you, Amazing Facts Team! This is such a timely video for me! I'll be praying for your wonderful ministry to stay strong, especially during these times. May His love and blessings always be with you! 🙏🏼❤️

Tweet from your pastor? Boy, that is comforting. Yeah, I suppose that God can answer your prayer through a tweet as well.
If He hears His people cry, so shouldn't we pray silently before His Presence?

Can we choose weather to sin or not sin.
Or do we not have a choice seeing we are born in sin?
@@nyambsdeborah8954 We can choose not to sin. Our nature is inherently sinful and selfish. For example, we have to teach children not to throw tantrums or to share or not to be upset when everything doesnt go their way because they come out self centered. Also for example take this
Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:
Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee;
Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.
Philippians 3:4-6
Paul (as Saul) had chosen a life where the laws of God he says could find him blameless.
-Romans 6:23
For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. -James 2:10-11
That is why there is no amount of good deeds we can do to save ourselves and how our righteousness can be counted as filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6) and also why Jesus’ sacrifice means so much.
-Philippians 4:13
When we align out will with the Lords will then we can stop the old sins and use His strength from the Lord that overcame sinful temptation in His earthly life to overcome it in out own. Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Hebrews 12:1-2
We can choose whether or not we pick Christ/whether or not to sin with every decision and sometime we will fail like many in the Bible did after picking Jesus, but we know that He will forgive us when we repent and continue to work in our lives to give us the ability to overcome sin.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. -1 John 1:9
I have one problem the audio on this program is always soo low y is that and every other program including commercial are so much louder
This video refuses to play, please help
I mostly agree with you Pastor Doug but I DO think God can have AWE.. it is written that Jesus MARVELED at certain people.. in luke the centurion who said if you just say the words I KNOW my servant will be healed, I'm not worthy that you should be in my house... When Jesus heard these things, he MARVELLED at him, and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel...
AND ALSO he MARVELLED at unbelif too. So Jesus himself could marvel in awe, he's God. I do agree that He never fears though :)
he knows though. he just said it to get the attention of the people and scribes who are watching.
So good to see they are not wearing masks.
Why does Ps. Carlos pray that we are begging these things? Are we beggers?
Jeremiah 10
I DONT CELEBRATE THANKS GIVING. THAT'S A MURDERESSES DECEITFUL HOLIDAY.
Whether you
will go there and 2.
BUT:
There is a way that we can be saved.
Amen xx

God will not hear sinners who refuse to stop sinning.
@Doug Batchelor, does God have a good sense of humor?
That gentleman who spoke about thanksgiving, blackfriday and christmas as if the allign with Sabbath principles is shameful.
Because I feel like they laughing stock.
New SDA believer of about 2 months. Went to my first SDA church last sabbath... and they had Roman symbols all over. An upside down cross in a pyramid with flames was the main symbol. Any guidance? Has the local SDA church been romanized? Some members said they celebrate Christmas too.
Hmm, that’s weird, I’ve never been to a SDA church before but that definitely doesn’t sound right.
@@priscillavelazquezs if only everyone had that mindset . God bless you and be with you everywhere you go
How was it that you became a SDA believer then? Just curious.

Reading the Bible. Realizing most churches are very unbiblical. Then came across Walter veith about a year ago.
