Along with Clinics, "The true story behind a veterinarian" vet life based series, shows a typical day in the life of a team of pet vets, focusing on Dr Sarah Novak, a thirty-something vet, and her vet tech shadow, the cheeky Pedro Lima.
Despite being a dedicated and competent professional, Sarah struggles with unfulfilled vitality and a sense of being out of her depth. Pedro is not only her best friend, but also an irreplaceable emotional anchor when things seem to be falling apart.
People in this amazing but tough profession know well the intensity and challenges that each day brings. Statistics for chronic stress, demotivation, compassion fatigue, depression, burnout, career abandonment and suicide are alarming in all reports, particularly affecting women, who make up 70% of new veterinary graduates.
In 2022, HappyVetProject happyvetproject.org/, a multi-lingual and multi-awarded platform (Marcom Awards 2022 - Gold Winner Digital Marketing Strategy; VEGA Awards 2022 - Centauri Winner Brand and Content Strategy), was launched by the content team of the Animal Health company LIVISTO. It is dedicated to raising awareness within the veterinary sector by offering them free tools to manage their own and their team's mental and emotional health, such as articles, tests, e-learning (communication, talent retention), e-guides, exercise, yoga, nutrition, interviews, etc.
