I used to be the biggest LeBron hater. I used to repost those corny “I asked change for a dollar from LeBron and he handed me 3 quarters. When I asked where is the other. He replied sorry I don’t have a 4th quarter” all the time back in 2011. But as time went by and he kept accumulating the accolades. I realized how special a player he is and anyone who hates on him is a damn fool. You have to appreciate these all timers when you can
Me too, I thought LeBron was talented for sure but I never got this shock watching him. I didn’t see it when he played, and his fans swore he was next yet I didnt see it. Until 2018 happened, in that year it was the first time I saw LeBron differently. I never see him insert his will on games like this, he has been dominant and I see it now. I think he is in his prime now, not physically but overall. A small ball center who can handle point duties and give you 27 a night, imma just appreciate what’s happening now
@@PrincessSneakyComputer facts 2018 was the first time I seen LeBron accept who he was. He’s not gonna outshoot you, he’s not gonna be Jordan, Kobe or whoever you wanna compare him to. He is LeBron, a living mismatch at 6’9 240. It’s like he wasn’t holding back, Miami Heat LeBron looked scary but at times looked like he held himself back. This is the best LeBron to me, period.
That respect line is so great. People seemed to take that line as “He and wants to be called the GOAT but that won’t happen” and they took it as “He’s begging for respect which is sad” no you idiots (Rob Parker especially) the line was about everybody doubting Lebron just because of last season. Give this man his damn respect simple. I love Lebron because I grew up on him. He literally started his career less than a month after I was born and that’s probably a reason why I love him so much. But no matter the age everyone should see how great he is as a player and person.
For someone who was born after LeBron entered the league, you sound pretty mature, unlike all these old heads who claimed that they watched Jordan play in the 90s
People are so selfish, they don’t appreciate greatness . To me Lebron is the goat 🐐 of my generation , there will never be another Lebron James . Stop hating and start appreciate Legends while they still here
As a 9 year old i was captivated and amazed at how Kobe faded away. Kobe made me fall in love with basketball, he is the reason i have fun anytime i step onto a court. Kobe is the reason i don't throw pieces of paper away like most people. His fadeaway left me with thoughts at the time that this guy could get a bucket whenever he wanted. I know this exactly how MJ was to everyone "bucket whenever he wants". Kobe to me seemed like he could will himself and manifest a jumper no matter the defense like a super hero. At 9 years old that is what it felt like, watching a super hero. He was one to me. I remember watching the 2010 playoffs and then its end against the Celtics with my dad. My dad died when i was 12, looking back i doubt he even cared about basketball i think he just liked it cause i did. I would play in school and my fifth grade teacher was a Laker fan. This Championship is so crazy to me. The Lakers did it for Kobe. Watching LeBron is also pretty much watching what seems like a super hero on the court, he too can just will himself to the points and to win. They are both genuinely inspiring, I'm from Cali i talk to a lot of Laker fans, honestly the ones who dont like Lebron always seem bitter and just weird bro. The "fans" that sent Danny green and his fiancé death threats are disgusting and beyond toxic, also they are stupid as fuck, we were up 3 to 1, it was a normal shot it just did not go down, even steph curry has missed in the nba finals children, cause thats what they act like man like little ass kids. There is this false narrative on twitter under like 90 percent of the recent content that this is a "mickey mouse ring", skip (fuk skip) too said Cubic zirconia ring. When objectively, a lot of players have said that that shit was hard. There is no asterisk. Bron has been outright crazy and i hope the lakers do something interesting this offseason so we have a better chance at a repeat , they gotta do something fasho the warriors and nets are there. And i just want to say i actually like all 3 of those goats. love these kinds of vids dom they smack.
Yoo I’m so gassed I was literally chillin high as shit thinkin to myself damn Lebron won his fourth title I wonder what dom2k has to say about it then boom I got the notification for this video 🔥🔥👌
The reason I would love to see Bron 3peat is because the amount of excuses would be hilarious because all those people that said he needed 6 rings to be considered the goat would have all kinds of excuses.
Neil Murray, Nah 6 and 6 is WAY better than 6 and 0. It means that you went double the amount of Finals and was ALWAYS there at the big dance. That’s better than MJ just losing all the time then winning a bunch in a row.
No. I'm glad the Nuggets shut that down. They let everyone know what time it was: they beat the media's favourites 4-3 in _another_ comeback from 3-1, only to be defeated 4-1 by the Lakers. Nobody expected Denver to succeed after dropping so many games, so when they did it's like: "if the Lakers beat Denver 4-1, but the Clippers choked a 3-1 lead, what chance would the Clippers have _really_ had?"
I knew that after part 4 his story would not be finished Edit: he recently just became the leading scorer not just in the playoffs and regular season but of ALL TIME, I don’t care that it’s a “longevity” award you don’t just play for 20 years and break that record you need to be elite and a dominant player for all 20 years which is a 1 of 1 thing
Lebron's 4th ring goes so underrated.. because of all that went into it. Especially competing with Kawhi Leonard, Giannis, and their superteams. He proved at year 35 to be the best player in the world once again. Ps. every time he had a supporting cast they won the chip.
@@rafikz77 And I blame 90s and Jordan fanboyism for that. Back then NBA players would star in advertisements in groups, Converse had them all together. Then Jordan started to play as an individual

Al Harrington said it best on the Matt Barnes Stephen Jackson podcast. "When your talking about BASKETBALL" as a whole and not just scoring + killer instinct, LeBron is probably the best BASKETBALL player ever. When you factor in everything, he has a VERY strong argument.
@@Icouldntpickone It's pretty close when you break it down by category. LeBron is a better rebounder, passer, 3pt shooter, and more versatile. Jordan is a better scorer, FT shooter, defensive player, post player. IQ and finishing at the rim prolly go to LeBron as well. The total breakdown is AT LEAST equal but if anyone has an advantage it's LeBron.
@@XxMVPxDawg how is lebron better at finsihing at the rim than mj? When mj took flight there was no stopping him. I'd give mj a slight edge there. Also 3pt shooting is a part of scoring and mj is always winning that one over lebron. The only 2 Things you can definetively say lebrons better at, are passing and rebounding.
He´s into the GOAT conversation because of the heat of the moment. Once he loses in the next 2-3 seasons, everything will cool off and only the Lebron´s fandom will claim him again as the GOAT. He will have probably the best career ever considering its longevity, bus will definitely not be GOAT no matters what he does.
@@IAMvonte-2518 It is highly probable that Lebron wins 5-6 NBA titles. However, will he need 20-21 seasons? 5-12 record in finals?. That is why I say he will have the best career ever because he´s not slowing down yet, but he won´t be the GOAT considering that MJ did what he did in 13 seasons and 6-0 in finals.
Prediction about LeBron James: After winning his first championship in LA, he'll make 3 straight nba finals appearances (he'll at least make it to the western conference finals each year) He might win 1 or 2 nba finals from 2021-23 even if he may have been carried to them at age 38. Then for the 2023-24 season, he will rejoin the Cavaliers for one last ride at age 39. After a few years of being a lottery team, the Cavs have lots of young talent but can't capitalize on it. The cavs again find themselves with a lottery pick in the 2023 draft, and after the NBA lifts the one-and-done rule, Cleveland selects LeBron James Jr. and pairs him with his dad. The Cavs make a few trades for veterans and turn themselves into a championship contender. After a bunch of questionable calls, the Cavs end up back in the finals and end up winning a ring as LeBron Sr. fades into the sunset. After this, LeBron Sr. retires and becomes a successful Hollywood actor. Time passes and after James disapproves of the Kanye administration, he throws his hat into the ring for the 2032 Presidential election. James wins in a landslide and becomes the 47th president of the United States overtaking Abraham Lincolns record of tallest president at 6'4".
I actually thought about that before with Lebron being president cause he seems to be really passionate about politics way more than any other athlete or star and tends to give his honest opinion on it a lot so that is possible but I think he’ll win this year and next as well giving him 6 ring I don’t know for after that though I think he’ll win one more and retire with 7 rings in total sounds crazy but it’s possible at the rate he’s going right now
D S first off, that heat team was legit. They dominated the eastern competition including the favorites to win the championship the bucks. They still had bam, an all star and one if the best defensive players, and jimmy butler a superstar along with other good role players. Lebron had a minor injury, ad also had one, and we were missing our 3rd best player Avery Bradley. So it was even on both sides. What makes it so impressive is the circumstances. Playing in the Bubble, seperate from family for months, players reported getting depression, and other people who were actually in the bubble talking about how tough it was. On top of all that, he dominated the hardest conference. He faced multiple all stars and mvps on his path all while dominating the entire time. That’s what makes this accomplishment so impressive. Not to mention the first to win fmvp on 3 different teams. That’s why a lot of people said he’s the goat. Worst case, they have him top 2. Even Paul pierce had him top 2.
I just found this video and boy was I glad to find out there are 4 more parts to it. Just finished watching them all and man was it *perfectly splendid* - Micheal Jordan maybe the best scorer, but Lebron is no doubt the best player to ever touch a basketball #kingjames #backtoback
never clicked faster... but let’s be real here. mj may forever be the GOAT but the greatest BASKETBALL PLAYER (all around) has been Lebron James since 2008ish.
Thing I don’t understand is Michael Jordan never played in the west though and people don’t criticise him for that Yes he was 6-0 against the western teams in the finAls but what if he had to play back to back to back series’s against western teams idk Tbh idrc about the goat debate but that was just a thought I had
That’s a good thought bro but they don’t criticize Michael because in Mj’s era the east was stronger than the west was and he was going through the harder comp to get to the finals. Lebron played in an east that wasn’t that good to get to these all time finals team he faced.
@@boyimaboss1238 People said that basketball have only gotten soft, less tougher, and worse since then, if that's the case then nobody would actually watch basketball, the rules have gotten a little bit soft which is fairly true, but because of that, the game of basketball has developed and changed a lot to adapt to the current era, for example they removed the hand checking rule and defenders nowadays have to react quicker to get in front of the ball handler and you need to be more athletic in order to do so. The defense schemes have also changed drastically in order to defend the perimeter since a lot of players nowadays know how to shoot a 3. I just hate when people said that MJ played in a tougher and better era, the game is clearly harder nowadays, if you really like seeing players throwing hands with each other because they're "tough" then go watch the UFC lol
How old are you of course that wasn't a narrative cuz player movement wasn't what it is now back then and yes like they said the east tougher then. The game goes through swings and cycles
MJ is the GOAT to me, but people who act like MJ would have been 10-0 if he and Lebron swapped places is beyond mind boggling. Its all theoretical, so nothing is for certain but I believe that most sensible people can agree that if MJ were in Lebron’s shoes the only result that MJ would have changed was against the Mavs in 2011. MJ wouldnt have beaten any other teams that Lebron has faced. He would be 5-5 MAYBE 6-4 AT BEST. So for people to act like theres this HUGE gap between MJ and everyone else is ridiculous. Does that diminish MJ’s greatness? Hell i think if he was 6-4 instead of 6-0 I think 6-4 is MORE impressive. Is 6-0 in the finals an impressive feat? No doubt. But should that be the end all and be all argument to be used to minimize Lebron’s accomplishment? No.
I don't think Kareem has been seen like that but I think he has been second minimum for a while. Then again I think comparing centers from that era to any other player of any other era is reaaaaalllllyyyyy hard because of the sheer talent difference
@@luhjayceho kareem had a chip before joining the lakers. Also how is him dominating a "weak" era, anything different than lebron dominating a weak eastern conference for 7 years?
@@oz_leon4198 exactly he won ONCE before joining magic. there’s a difference between a weak conference and a weak era. plus lebron came to the west and dominated so 🤷🏽♂️
@@luhjayceho and kareem didn't dominate in the west? He won 3 mvps and 1 finals mvp while in the west. The reason he only won once before is because he only played for 6 years before joining the lakers and at that time there just were better teams around than the bucks, like the lakers and knicks.
my personal top 15: “best player” to me means how much a player helps a reasonably constructed team win a championship(so floor raisers like westbrook aren’t valued much) so skills that fit well with championship teams and good offense like being able to play with other superstars means i value skills like shooting, passing, and defense a lot 1. lebron 2. steph curry 3. anthony davis 4. kawhi leonard 5. giannis antetokounmpo 6. KD 7. james harden 8. luka 9. jokic 10 dame 11. jimmy butler 12. embiid 13. tatum 14. paul george 15. kyrie irving if u disagree id love to have a civil conversation on why💯
Nice list but Paul George shouldn't be in the list I rather put Donovan Mitchell, Klay, Murray, Chris Paul, or even Bam Adebayo 😂😂😂 that man Way off P always chokes
I love how they call it the bubble title. Yet if anybody else had one they wouldn't have said anything about a bubble. They also act like the Lakers weren't already the best team before the shutdown anyway
Chemistry for both ad and lebron is one aspect but the coach who give the motivation to be a team player for all the Lakers/Management /supporters/fans it is the key...all players treat each each other as "One" family...
After this title, I think LeBrons case for goat is the strongest. I have taught so before, but I definetly understood why people would say mj is the goat. I still obviously do, but I think, that now LeBrons case is much stronger then his.
@BIGmonkeys 23 isn't lebron third in all time season scoring and number one in all time playoff scoring at the moment? so you can say he gets number 2 in all time season scoring next season and maybe number 1 the season after. If he gets a MVP and another ring I would confirm him as GOAT. But that's me personally people have different requirements no matter how unrealistic.
LeBron is my GOAT, MJ might be your GOAT, Kareem might be your GOAT and that’s okay...what isn’t okay is hating on another player and diminishing their accomplishments just because they’re not your favorite player
Lebron is, longevity wise, the goat. I don't thin there's ,uch disputing that unless you're really into Kareem. He's been the best player in the nba for longer than anybody ever. I don't like using mvps and championships to rank players because htey're dependant on team circumstance and team mates, but just based on level of play, Lebron has been at the highest level for the longest, and has an argument for the greatest peak, probably behind MJ and in the same tier as Shaq. A once in a liftetime athelte.
@@starfyre59 Well if you're looking it in that sense, then LeBron is definitely the GOAT when it comes to longevity. I just have one question for you. Do you think Stockton is a top 30 player of all time? Because I believe Stockton is hella overrated.

lebron at 35 Ring Fmvp assist leader ....and i think thats it. MJ at 35 Ring Fmvp MVP All star game mvp Scoring champion (10th) 3-peat it's weird that they are all amazed by what lebron done at age 35 when mj does more!
Biblical If you factor the fact Lebron entered the league at 17yrs and MJ 22yrs old you can see that Lebron already has an advantage in filling the stats column. In addition you have to factor the season where Jordan broke his foot. Finally the two seasons he decided to go play baseball. So What! Is than an excuse! No... it’ merely facts coming from a Warriors fan that lived through the MJ hype during the 80s and 90s.

Because all Jordan ever did was score and clutch up right? LeBron is very good but he has not topped Jordan.

My boy dom back with a banger
Missing the playoffs In his first year on the lakers was the best thing that could have happened
The case for goat series was and is a banger Dom!
Prediction about LeBron James:
After winning his first championship in LA, he'll make 3 straight nba finals appearances (he'll at least make it to the western conference finals each year) He might win 1 or 2 nba finals from 2021-23 even if he may have been carried to them at age 38.

Tbh idrc about the goat debate but that was just a thought I had

No.

the real question is, did this ring push him over kareem for 2nd place
I don't think Kareem has been seen like that but I think he has been second minimum for a while. Then again I think comparing centers from that era to any other player of any other era is reaaaaalllllyyyyy hard because of the sheer talent difference
kareem is not better than lebron. he dominated the worst era of basketball and failed to win until he teamed up with the best pg ever.

@@projekt679 so what? Is that an excuse? Dont forget that he won a ncaa title there and bragging that favors MJ even more lol
MVP is a media award and all star game MVP??? 😂😂

DOM2K WITH ANOTHER BANGER
If i’m being honest I haven’t been this annoyed about an nba champion since 2013, and I’m a fudging spurs fan. I don’t know why but I’m just so triggered probably because the most toxic fan base has been awakened again.
😂😂😂
You did AMAZING on this video!!!
Great video!
I’ve really gotten sick of listening to Lebron the last few years but man I will always love watching him play. What a monster.
