They remind me of the Get-Along Gang and Care Bears toys from the 80's. They're cool looking! I would be totally cool with my wife collecting these... I would even build her a giant display like that for them. It looks good! And it just kept going and going! 🙂

Abby, i never heard of the Calico Critters until you talked about them, i had Richard Scary animal town figures i think . among hundreds of other lines of action figures that i would mix together and play with. from Sesame street to Gijoe and Star Wars and battle beasts. so i understand you like these, i liked the Care Bear figures with the different symbols on their bellies, and they were hefty feeling. i got an inHumanoid Tree monster when i was little and a rock monster, but i never got the men, i got one a couple of years ago via ebay. and i like the texture of their suits, if you can ever feel them, i think each one had a different rubber type mold to give them a tactile experience for your hands.
