I rewatch your videos all the time and I'm still always amazed at how much skill you have. Your voice is so nice and calming as well. I love everything about your videos all around. ♡
It's a bit hard to explain, they tend to be shimmery, the texture is different and you can apply them lightly or layer them heavily. I'll have to do a video at some point on my second channel showing the difference because it's a bit hard to explain :)
@AlicetheShort Blue dose look gorgeous underneath, you could even try a gradient if you wanted. Blue on one end and then something like purple on the other :)
*sigh* This is a look INSPIRED by the Romani gypsy people. Klaire is not trying to say that every Irish, Indian, American or wherever-they're-from gypsy looks like this. It's just a gorgeous, colourful look inspired by a rich and exotic culture.
hey guys, I have an idea. It's quite obvious that Klaire did NOT mean to be offensive by saying this look was inspired by the Gypsy culture. If this offends you, don't watch the video. It's as simple as that. And for the rest of us, let's appreciate the absolute beauty of this look - THAT'S what the video is about. (:
I've got this thing about people touching my eye area so I've never let anyone else touch my eyebrows. I'll try and do a video on them at some point :)
I never wear makeup on a daily basis. People keep asking for my everyday makeup routine and the reason I don't do it is because I don't have one. All I wear is moisturizer and a bit of sun cream :) But when I do wear makeup it dose tend to be dramatic like this :)
The blush I skipped in this one because I felt it was to much with everything else going on, and I didn't feel like countoring and I'm not too fond of bronzer :)
You are by far my favorite makeup artist on UA-cam, you have the gift to turn makeup into art! Your videos are simple yet effective and have great quality, which I love, and you are so pretty!
Alright guys, what. the. HELL. I live in Spain, and I don't get what all this bullshit is coming from. Three close friends of mine (one of them is one of my best friends, he's the best) are gypsies, proud of it, call themselves gypsies (or rather, the Spanish word, "gitano"), call gypsies like that, their families call themselves gypsies, they call their culture gypsy culture, and don't compare it to the N-word because ALL gypsies in Spain are like that. There are no agreements to ask if it's okay to call a gypsy a gypsy, because there's literally NO OTHER WORDS in the Spanish language to call them. In here, there's actually a slur for non-gypsy people (as in, gypsy people call that to other people who aren't of this ethnicity) still no-one is offended by it. Really, I don't even know what all this slur ruckus is about. If I told my friends that gypsy is a slur word in some countries, they would laugh their asses off, and one of them may even feel offended that some people consider it an insult (her family is a really traditional one, and I've got the feeling that she would feel insulted if someone told her 'gypsy' is a slur) That is all. Have a nice fucking day.
Not those exact shows, but ones like them, yes. If you're not an active member of some kind of Social Justice blog or just have an apathy to certain things you could get confused, and I suppose this is what happened to a lot of people.
You are so beautiful and inspiring. Every one of your looks are new and creative! And I adore that you take time to reply to your subscribers, thanks klaire!
@tashlovesyou100 I've had a peacock look on my list for soooo long. I'm thinking I might plan to do it around Christmas, I'll be nice to have a colourfull look around that time when the weather is so rubbish :)
Gypsy isn't even an offensive word in America, don't worry about it. The Romany gypsies in the show My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding even refer to themselves as gypsies. I don't know how anyone convinced you it was offensive, it's completely fine.
Ok, the eye make up reminds me of... kind of a sunset in the forest... it also seems to be a happy gypsy celebration ... and she looks ready for a happy gypsy celebration!!! she looks so beautiful, loved the pictures at the end!!! *0*
I've though about doing a video in Spanish quite a few times, even though I can speak it fluently I'm not familiar with the words for makeup and special effects :/
Description box is filled in now! :D If you were looking for one of the products I used in the video you can now find it linked in the description box :)
I deleted my Blog Tv account about 8 months ago now. I've really gone off BlogTV, it always seems to cause drama and I end up talking about things which are personal which is something I really want to avoid as my personal life has no place on the internet.
I love your videos. You always share Unique styles with us and you make it as simple as possible; to me your the best Makeup Guru on UA-cam. Keep up the good work !
Quite a few things, actually. It helps the eye shadow from creasing, it brightens up the pigments and it helps the powder stick on better. If you don't have primer you can use concealer or white eyeliner either the pencil or cream, I'm not sure if the gel would work since I haven't used it.
After reading the comment field i think i may never read comments again. Everyone is so touchy these days and anything you say or do can "offend" them. I love that you do different styles and looks that are stunning. And to the rest of the world out there that this applies to...enjoy her art and stop picking apart a title to video. There are much bigger and worse things going on in the world than that.
Although the beginning photo looked great I really thought when you showed the bright lip stick and gloss that it was going to be too much but it looked amazing. Great job as per usual!
Wonderful! tutorials from you Klaire light up my life! so colourful. I love this look and as always I love bold coloured lips!!! thanks Klaire for the marvelous effort!
I have the same feeling. I feel bronzer isn't a necessity unless it's for a look. I think you can do pretty cool things with blush. I'm a makeup artist myself and I think you do an excellent job! One of the best youtubers. :)
I appreciate ur use of the word romani and pointing out the fact that it can be offensive. I love ur videos so its great to also see another side of respect. Thank u!
Absolutely stunning :) gosh Id forgotten how amazingly talented u are..u hav got to do more tutorials as ur videos are truly just a pleasure n honour to watch :D. So in love with the colours u used...love ittttt :D xxx
I love it! I really enjoy your channel because it's so different to cosplay makeup, and I guess... 'standard' day/night makeup! haha and I really like colors :3
I don't wear eyeshadow or anything, I don't think I even own a proper one, but your tutorials are so nice to watch and your voice is so pleasant to listen to. :)
(seriously last one) I've really tried to be as polite and kind as possible here, so I'm sorry if I come across as demeaning or anything. Thank you! Sorry I've written a novel, basically, but I really thought this needed to be said. The comments on this video are getting to me
I've got a series planned which I can't wait to get started on. t should be great because it'll challenge me to push myself and you guys get to vote on which look I do next :)
Oh my gosh Klaire, is it even possible for you to make something ugly?!? I looove the colors! Where I live in the U.S. has also been rainy/cloudy, and it will be for another week... this is like seeing a rainbow after a storm c:

The head band I bought off e-bay and I added the stone in the middle from an old earring I had which had broken :)
I don't normally wear blush with heavy looks like this but feel free to add blush if you want :)
I seriously need to get some sugar pill palettes lol your videos are awesome klaire :D
@AlicetheShort Blue dose look gorgeous underneath, you could even try a gradient if you wanted. Blue on one end and then something like purple on the other :)

@hitherefriendly Of course you can :) Don't ever feel pressured to use the exact makeup that I do, if you have something else go ahead and try it :)
Still a bit under weather but I'm getting better :) Thanks for asking

I've found that if you aim to keep the eyeliner as close to the eye lashes as possible your eyes are not as likely to tear up :)
Yay! :D I'm really pleased I decide to film closer to the eyes, makes it so much easier to see what I'm doing :)
I've got this thing about people touching my eye area so I've never let anyone else touch my eyebrows. I'll try and do a video on them at some point :)
@JessiLaurenca I made it from a broken necklace and earing I had. They're really quite easy to make! :)
I never wear makeup on a daily basis. People keep asking for my everyday makeup routine and the reason I don't do it is because I don't have one. All I wear is moisturizer and a bit of sun cream :) But when I do wear makeup it dose tend to be dramatic like this :)

I LOVE that purple eyeshadow! So amazingly pigmented! :D
I'll will be updating the description box first thing tomorrow morning, 4am and I think my pillow and I need to catch up :)
You are by far my favorite makeup artist on UA-cam, you have the gift to turn makeup into art! Your videos are simple yet effective and have great quality, which I love, and you are so pretty!
You're the master of eyeshadows :) You always throw in something I never expected, but just works!
I'm adding everything in the description box now. Give it another 20 minutes and I should have everything in there for you :)
I'm a bit knackered at the moment but I'll be fine once I've had a bit of a rest :)

I'm American and gypsy is not offensive to me and rubber does not make me think of condoms

I don't know what's up with the weather this year :( Just rain, clouds and more rain :( Dying for a little bit of sunlight!
You are so beautiful and inspiring. Every one of your looks are new and creative! And I adore that you take time to reply to your subscribers, thanks klaire!
OMG.......After so long. I am so excited to find you back :P
Klaire, this is definitely one of the best looks you've done, I really enjoyed watching it!! :)
I do all of it :) I use a few softboxes, now I use Final Cut Pro X to edit and an EOS 600D camera :)
@tashlovesyou100 I've had a peacock look on my list for soooo long. I'm thinking I might plan to do it around Christmas, I'll be nice to have a colourfull look around that time when the weather is so rubbish :)

so beautiful
I live in America. And the term "gypsy" isn't offensive. I've never heard it used offensively, and I know a few gypsies....
Its just the lighting and the makeup :) in real life my skin has a lot of old acne scaring :)
Quite a few things, actually. It helps the eye shadow from creasing, it brightens up the pigments and it helps the powder stick on better. If you don't have primer you can use concealer or white eyeliner either the pencil or cream, I'm not sure if the gel would work since I haven't used it.
