I have applied his principles for 4+ days now and this shit seriously works. I am accomplishing 2-3 times more than I normally do in a day, and being able to look back at what I did in a day is the key indicator that determines how I feel about my accomplishments, regardless of how small they seem in the moment. If I don't keep track of things, then I "forget" whatever it is that I wanted to accomplish in the first place, which might explain why I felt like a failure before.
Just curious....are you still doing this? If so what do you use to write it down? A notepad, excel template, Google docs?
I do the Power List every single day! Best piece of advice from one of the best in the business. Thanks David and Andy!
Have you checked out our other conversation?
@@DavidMeltzer The one with you and Carlos on the Real AF podcast? Yes. Or is there another conversation that I can enjoy on the Playbook?
@@Buff99ca Are you supposed to have a specific goal and then use the power list to achieve that long term goal? Cause I can't think of any career goals so I feel a bit stuck
@@juchanan9680 you don’t have to center your power list around any particular goal, although having clear goals are very important. You can’t hit a target that you can’t see.
Having said that, pick 5 critical tasks that will move your forward, help you grow. The key is to gain momentum by winning as many days as possible. The more wins you get, the more confidence you develop.
@@Buff99ca so I tried to think of 5 things and honestly I'm struggling. I'm already doing 75 hard and working out so I don't feel I need to put any of those tasks down cause I'm gonna do them anyway. Just tough to think of tasks to move forward when you don't have any career goals to break down
Needed every second of this.
Andy lookin' Beastly!

I CANT WAIT TO DO THIS!!!! THANKS ANDY!!
Have you checked out my other interview with Andy?
@@DavidMeltzer no but i must!!!
What great simple practical advice there. When you make it smaller it seems more doable. Great insights.
Great Simple Advice for life Thanks

Glad you found it!
So good thank you for doing this
Thank you for watching. Let me know who else you would like to see on #ThePlaybook
Do the 5 Tasks of 75Hard count as the power list?
No only on phase 2
Specific that you can get it done
MY GUYS!!! Who's a Yankees fan though? I like whichever of you it is a little less because of that 👎
I'm a padre fan, don't know what's worse!
