What program do you use to make animations ?
I feel bad for the people who are gonna look up “how to use blender” and click on this video in hopes of actually learning how to use it
I learned more from him than most people anyways back when I used Blender all I ever knew to do was to add text and then kinda animate it. This shit's hard.
@@CybernikTheHedgehog You should try again now that 2.8 changed the UI, it's actually a lot more user friendly than before, not to mention that there are a lot more tutorials than in the past (because time does that).

I recommend downloading blender gurus shortcut sheets and print it out and put it in a binder
Just search blender guru then go to his beginner tutorial then go in the description then click the link for it in the description then download it

@@cottoncherry2177 But renders can be tricky. If you want an isometric (i.e. zero perspective) view of the model with no lighting interrupting the textures, the settings have to be quite different than the default. (And I never figured out how to set them because I'm a hack I guess)
Actual advice: To get less pixely/rough shapes you need make certain areas of the mesh have higher polygon density

Blender is the software we are currently using and let me just say that when we started out, we raged at the sight of the interface cuz it looked so complicated. With lots of practice and patience, we finally got where we wanted to be! To Anyone reading this who is currently trying to learn the software, just be be patient and keep practicing! You'll get there! Great video btw! I really liked it!

every fruggin' graphics card from 2000-whatever to present day can run blender. You don't have to use cycles renderer and gpu acceleration... though that's kinda required to make it not be slow af/ a huge pain in the butt... ok so you're kinda right
I use a old laptop 4gb ram intel i3 and if you want to render it will take time or you can pay for a render farm

Hi Peter,
To get the smooth definition in blender for sculpting and modelling, it's necessary to play with subdivision modifiers and smoothing options (usually by enabling the Shade Smooth option)

ok for the spikes use hair in the particles tab, to avoid it being pixely right click it and press shade smooth, and you should use edit mode more, its pretty usefull.

I've been hanging around the Blender for a long time now and compared to a lot of other noobies these are somewhat decent first sculpts.
Yeah you're making a lot of beginner mistakes, but you definitely have a better sense of 3D geometry than a lot of people,

the first thing suprised me, you could either shade smooth or use multires to subdevide it to make it smoother, but tbh it looks best the way it is
By the way, the reason the the dots on the eyes appeared on the nose is because your UV map (basically if you cut the model up and laid it flat that would be the UV map) was aligned wrong and painting the colours on bled over from one vertex to another. Also you should have used smooth shading (right click and select smooth shading) and dynamic topology so instead of moving vertices it added them
