- Here are a few interesting skills/drills that I have video collected over the years. My hope is that some of the audience out there will be interested in having there stuff be seen. If so contact me at saltocafe@gmail.com and we'll try to get it posted.
This is the side of gymnastics I really enjoy watching...the artistic side.
I love the handspring entry vault, I wish people could compete that

The coolest thing is 1:08 . Shaposhnikova catches in mixed L-grip w/ 1/2 turn. THAT IS OUT OF THIS WORLD!
I think I've seen the german giant to a pak done before, would be cook to see again, as well as the pak but catch in reverse grip to endo. Cool skills!

the handspring vault was an idea of mine for a while, I never thought it was possible. so I thought I was crazy.

The pak salto over the low bar is banned too. I think the only transfer that goes over the low bar allowed is bail to handstand or similar. (not quite sure on that though :P)
Great job on the Weiler kip. Its a lot harder on UB.

i have an idea but i cant do it and i dont know if it has been made but its for the uneven bars on the low bar cast to handstand then bring your feet to the bar and then stand up on the low bar and jump to the high bar then swing a couple of times and do a front tuck onto the low bar please see if you can do that and tell me

Handsprings onto the springboard aren't allowed in elite WAG. I think they might be allowed in JO though.

no, it's not! go to usagym.org and read rules. got to woman's at the top, then click on rules and polices, and first thing: Jr. Olympic: A hand placement mat may be placed on the runway (but not on the board) ONLY for vaults that require placing the hands on the runway in front of the board (Round-off or FRONT HANSPRING entry.) see it yourself if you don't think it's true!
you should check that at usagym.org in woman's gymnastics rules and polices

Michelle Browning of Iowa does a front handspring handspring on front pike off
because you wouldn't get enough power, and you could do a more difficult vault without it.

I want someone to do a forward side-straddle on bars. (not forward or backward, but sideways.) It would probably need to be done in a mixed grip.
