@ yasss. I got new ones every year but the only ones I completely remember were the ones I made from brown paper bags that I drew on 😂😂😂 but I’m sure I had super cool store bought ones too haha 🤣
I hope this gives you a chuckle! In elementary school for Valentine’s Day, girls gave the cute animal, valentines cards, and boys gave the superhero cards, and if a boy gave me a wonder woman or a cat woman card, I knew he liked me - in my head lol!! 💖
@@PrimeTimeTreasureHunter, thinking Star Wars and maybe Spider Man ( Marvel). My parents might have them packed away. Gives me something to look forward to. Look through several large plastic totes.
@@PrimeTimeTreasureHunter I was afraid you'd take it that way. I'm not a comic book person but I still always learn things. Daisy just seems to grow on a person:)
Another fun video. Yes, we have seen Jeff before. I remember that you bought a whole lot of ephemera with photos from him.❣️ In the Netherlands, we did cover our school books too. Only we used a roll of cover paper. It's a bit like wrapping paper but more firmly. They had all kinds of colors and prints. I have never seen these kinds of covers you had.🤔📚
Thanks! Glad to show you something new! Yes, we used to cover books in brown paper bags from the grocery store and then draw all sorts of cool scenes on them.
Another great video! I think I had a little bit of everything you showed in this one. I had those Presto Magics for I think superheroes and Planet of the Apes. Definitely remember those book covers. That was a ritual at the start of every school year, cover your books! I was the king of cutting up paper bags from the grocery store to make my own book covers. Then I would draw my own superheroes, dragons and warriors on them. 🐉🗡️🦸♂️🤘😎👍
Yes! I loved picking out my folders and book covers each year! Definitely did the paper bag thing too and drawing! Nowadays, no one uses book covers. They are missing out!
Presto Magix - I remember that. I am not sure what characters I had because I don't think it was superheroes. I can tell you had fun in this video. Great finds as always.
Great pick. I had several 1966 Batman cards from my childhood that were lost in a move over 30 years ago. Lost Beatles cards too. I enjoy all your videos but especially Comics related ones. Thanks Dom. Randy.
I had those valentines and a couple of the book covers We later took paper bags and cut and folded them to make book covers and then glued pages / pictures of torn/ worn comic books Yeah covering our books was a requirement in the 70's and 80's
