I first listened to this song while i was in the process of leaving an abusive partner. This song really gave me a glimpse of how fulfilling life could be on my own, doing things to nourish and love myself. The part at the end, where she repeats “let me go” made me think of letting go of the me that believed i deserved to be mistreated. It’s been a few years now and i still bawl every time i hear it.

This song is great but besides the lyrics having meaning and her voice fitting perfect to the rhythm , there's small details , if you hear closely you'll hear a door opening in the first line , then there's sounds of rain , it has a soothing flow of sounds when she says let me talk my shit , the fact that this line cannot be understood well cause her voice mixes with the background music and at the very end there's a disturbing sound .THIS IS ART . Creatively genius .
