I really like the facelift of the X7, I even love the 7 series BMW is the best German car brand, they create a great balance of quirky, posh and sporty, they make the best daily drivers
23" wheels.... I'm speechless. My friend who is an executive at BMW has a 2022 X7. It's funny watching him look for parking spots when he comes to downtown Toronto to have a coffee... And that's all I have to say about the X7. Thanks for the review Marek. And I hope you are wearing sunscreen. I know how your Polish skin isn't used to so much sun...
@alliejr That explains our AC issues. Outside temperature was about 15 degrees C up at 5k feet elevation, but inside the car the AC couldn't keep up cooling the interior. The thermostat went crazy, because it was relatively cool outside, but the sun was heating the inside of the car like an oven.
No, we don't need such big cars in Europe, but the tech showcase and waterfall effect to the lesser models is welcome. And yes, we need and appreciate good reviewers as you are. We'll done Marek, independently from which side of the Atlantic.
I have to disagree with your ugly comment. I sell BMWs for a living and I have been driving one of these for about three weeks. I have never gotten this much positive attention from so many people. I drop my son and daughter off at two different schools and the amount positive comments are surprising.
Really would like your opinion about the 8 Cyl model Vs the 2023 LandRover sport V8. Price point are the same and it seems the engine is the same… which one to go for and why? Thank you for your great reviews
I keep seeing comments on how ugly this BMW suv is, yet you can’t find these vehicles on anyone’s lots. A lot of them are sold within the transport stage to the dealership. I haven’t seen the front in person but I do love the interior changes. Guess everyone has a very different opinion on what’s attractive and what’s ugly.
great review; I like the fact that you sit in the back while someone is driving but the car? it is HORRENDOUS I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder but really it is hideous
The lower area below the grill is just the WORST. I don’t even understand how they can design something so ugly, let alone approve it for production and think it looks good!? Are they letting children design the fronts of their cars now?!
I could imagine the congestion around the schools if the 'Chelsea tractor 'brigade all buy one of these 😂 i think styling of vehicles is becoming crazy 😜 great review Marek 👌
Exactly David ;) I drive an E segment sedan, but the first days I dropped off my son the Audi was dwarfed by a parade of RR, GLS and X6. This Escalade-que 'behemoth' (thx Marek) tops 'm all. Marek, as a medical student, I happened to stay where this testdrive was filmed. Our car (Rent a Wreck) broke down. Hours later, the repair man told about the mysteries of the desert around Palm Springs. His stories were 'mob' related ..... With that in mind, glad you survived your ordeal
@Don Dixit interesting. It's a good thing my driving partner didn't hear about it. When we stopped to film my stand-up scenes next to the car, we were out of cell service, and there was (recreational?) shooting going on somewhere in the vicinity. I noticed my colleague was a bit uneasy being the middle of nowhere with no way to call for help :)
LOL I thought his stoned look was just for the character he played in "Freaks and Geeks", but now I checked, and it seems he looks like that all the time.
This and the 7-er both look like the actual good looking car is stuck inside this ugly outer shell… just from the front I mean. Rest of it is ok for what it is.
Marek Drives in English : BMW doesn't offer a V6 engine....and they never have....they offer an inferior and cheaper to manufacture Inline-6....get your facts straightened.
I really think is better than pre facelifted.
Great car! Best in class.

I used to live in Dubai. Palm Springs is quite chilly this time of the year :)
@@MarekDrivesENG ok fancy pants... LOL
@@MarekDrivesENG Haha... might be chilly but that high dessert sun is no joke! 😊

As long as he parks underground downtown...and stays clear from yorkdale and duferin mall parking lots...he'll survive😂😂
Uglier (the nose at least) for sure, my Goodness gracious.
Great video as usual (so far, still watching) :D
Dzieki!

With vehicle ride better on 23”, the X7 or GLS?
The new head lights are from the rolls royce boat tail car which costs 28 million dollars

I think this is a great car, if you are part of the mafia or have an ego the size of the moon (or both!)
But then look at the big Range Rover. It's not exactly subtle either.
@@MarekDrivesENG fair point, seems like all big, expensive SUVs are designed with the same target audience in mind.
Has it been in a front end crash or is it meant to look like that ?
Nice review. Do you happen to know what colour the car was that you drove? It looks slightly green at the end of your video.
Probably Manhattan Brown/Bronze
It’s Manhattan green metallic

BMW have lost their compass for some time now...
Thanks for another good review!
what is the color name at the end of the video ?
Please check earlier comments. Someone asked, and I answered.
YES;)

I wonder how many were sold before they arrived, and how many are simply still in production, because of chip shortages.
BMW offers v6? Or there is mistake and it should be r6
I'm out, I really love cars, but a car like that one makes me angry! 😕
Had nothing to do with your work Marek. 😉

I have a bmw 2 series grand tourer
Very good car.
Those headlights are as squinty as James Franco 🤣😅
LOL

Huge....not for British roads.
What about the full size Range Rover? How does that fit on British roads?
The headlights are ugly. No way around it. Pontiac Aztec ugly
agreed! everything else is good imo.
Expensive , ugly, will be problematical long term. Avoid!
The front bumper is ugly as f...
Such an horrible thing. Sad story.

If I said V6 anywhere it's by mistake. Should have said straight six
@@MarekDrivesENG it's cool....I am sorry if I was too meticilous :).
It's so ugly!!
