  • In this video, we continue the construction of our 35-foot by 12-foot metal-roofed shed. This shed is going to be situated between our two shipping containers and the main purpose of it is to harvest rainwater. With one inch of rain, we expect to collect over 260 gallons of rainwater, which is incredibly valuable for our fruit trees and future garden. Based on rainfall totals from 2021, we expect to collect over 10,000 gallons of rainwater annually.

Great video...... i actually have all these exact same conversations, and doubts in my head on every project i attempt, but i try to act cool and collected on the outside while bumbling through the actual building process and see if anyone thinks i actually know what the heck i'm doing ....haha!
Good stuff, just getting outside, and building anything is always a step in the right direction in my opinion....

Thanks a ton! I asked Ryan before I posted to make sure he wasn’t embarrassed with me showing how scattered I am.
And I totally agree - building something outside is time well spent! Thanks for watching!
