I think I liked Kier's better for the first half of the run - the mayor sidequest, ladder boss fight, and bee were all really fun! And I liked Dev's for the second half. The lava parkour with the centipede king chasing you was really intense and harder to cheat, and the centipede gun made the final boss possible. This was such a great video!
Agreed, I'd like to play a version where the two endings are blended together, like maybe they send you to the centipede dimension after beating the ladder boss. I haven't seen many of this channels videos but they seem very creative.
i think the end was stupid, because kier had a much easier boss, and scumbag.

This could actually be cool if they optimized their twists to be more fair or designed for trying to survive hunters, like if dev was doing kier's path, nobody can fight him while he's attempting the ladder boss? Maybe add a few more bosses with unique attacks and ways to kill them and it could be pretty cool to see a second time

My suggestion is to bring in a third party or parties to help level the playing field.
Eg Boosfer (or someone) plays through both games but is not told who made which. He then leaves instructions for changes to the games to balance them with each other. Then he writes the hint books for both.
You know what? This is actually a pretty cool concept. You should do more of these "speedrunner races" and alternate ways to beat the game. You should also do it with more people like Boosfer and YelloWool. Thanks KIER and DEV for posting a new video, keep up the good work, and Merry Early Christmas!
P.S: The next boss should be Podrick or Boosfer's Search History.

Dev: Constantly says that Kier is a scum bag due to him making puzzles.
Also Dev: Puts Centipedes in Kier's adventure, makes him go through horror and constant grinding and even breaks some of the puzzles.
Using someone's phobia against them is just plain evil
Kier unironically made something with some depth and puzzles but extremely unbalanced enemies and Dev made a grindathon with a bunch of stick figures that take all your stuff and a ritual only he would know while exploiting his friend’s phobia

I love how KIER's twist sent DEV into some weird virtual world, while DEV's was straight-up sending Kier to the second circle of Hell.
For the twists:
I like kier’s idea (im a computer science major so I might be bias lol) but it felt creative and new. Also the builds were beautiful.
Dev’s parkour race was so intense it was so much fun to watch.
You both did great and had creative ideas

What if the hunter creates their way to beat the game, and the speedrunner adds their own twist. The speedrunner is given a book of hints and the hunter doesn't know the twist.

Definitely do this again but also definitely think it through more, both of you gave each other basically impossible puzzles even with the hints, like why would you think you could place the usbs or to sacrifice 100 legs?
I mean the Sacrifice of 100 legs were pretty obvious but the "DESTROY ALL CENTIPEDE" part in the chat was the IMPOSSIBLE part without Dev's help

Minecraft Manhunt but banners are OP: The runner can use custom banner patterns to craft banners with AOEs that buff the runner and debuff the hunters.
This was actually a super cool idea, that last temple run with the centipede boss was intense

Got idea for manhunt, it like normal manhunts but if hunter's can't kill the runner after 10 minutes, a command blocks or how ever it works, will random swap the runner role for a random hunter's role hunter lost his role becomes a hunter, you repeat this till only one of you lives.
So for example
Runner is dev,
Hunter's, kerr and booster
And ten minutes past devs runner role swaps with booster and timer resets,
It is now
Booster is runner
And dev and Kerr is hunters and so on. If runner dies before ten minutes are up and swapped, they loose and can't continue to hunt, making it one on one, etc
