Ive done Lantia for a few years even before the oil rig exist, I went there and died many times for not understanding this phases and not understanding how Lantia really works. this helps alot for beginers

I looked online what the use of the APAC Surge Module is. And it triggers an EVR Storm (at A1 to get to A3). Sow if you have friends waiting outside they can come in. I assume they still need to push the button at A2 tho and run to A1 Orb. It can also be used multiple times. EDIT; might be wrong in 31 jan Sumrak (Namalsk Survival) patch notes it says as follows; Changed: APAC surge module can only be used once (but also spawns only in Athena-3 making it as another way out). Sow i think its a one time use only and to make an orb appear at the top floor in A3 sow you can escape without going trough one of the 2 tunnel exits. Also another thing. Changed: LEHS suit and helmet can no longer be repaired. :( before you could use expoxy puty for the suit and electrical repair kit for the helmet. Gonna test it out if that is also trough for this server mod i play on (DayOne)
Incredible. Best breakdown of Lantia and portal details. Nice work to unpack and detail all this. It would be cool if there was more development into what Lantia is and what you can do there. But seems unlikely that will come.

Amazing video! Tho i have another question, if you press the button back on A2 on Namalsk then you jump into the orb, once on A3 can you go loot without insert all the components to open the portal for Lantia? Do you have limited time if you just wanna stay on A3?
You can stay on A3 as long as you want there is no time restriction for A3, do keep in mind though, you need a gas mask for A3. So if you use up all of your gas mask filters you'll have to leave. If you stay on A3 without a gas mask with a functioning filter, you'll get a disease that's very hard to cure. (Disease can be cured with the PO-X Antidote pen) P.S - You can use charcoal tablets on your gas mask filters to increase their durability/usage
Hey brother! You’re video is ONE of a kind. I just went to Lantia with the timer running on my phone. With 90 seconds on the clock (to get back to A3 instead of random teleport), I tried grabbing the ‘phased EMAC flow controller’ where I’m told it normally spawns, but I couldn’t find it. It takes 25 seconds to get there and another 25 seconds to get back (50 second round trip), which screws me over if I can’t find it there. I’m a solo player, so finding it and making it back to A3 within 90 seconds is crucial. Do you know where the spawn locations for this device are? That’s literally the ONLY thing missing in your tutorial. I can’t find anything on Reddit/ UA-cam either about this specific detail. I know roughly 2ish years ago, before the Lantia spacesuit update, the device spawned in the center by the orb.
Tysm for the kind comment! As for where the phased flow controller spawns it is going to be risky getting it alone. There is a rare chance it can spawn in the orb where the portal is, but usually you'll have to venture around lantia to find it. It can be found lying around on the scaffolding either in the little bins on the sides or on the tables. What i did when i solo ventured to lantia was that I turned on the timer on my phone just like you did and absolutely booked it in one direction to find the controller. If i found it.. yay, if not.. then id have to get back to the portal before stabilization and try again but in a different direction.
@@potatoch7p That’s good to know that it can still spawn by the orb. I was actually able to get it today. I just logged off in the control room of A3 and waited 8 hours for Lantia loot to respawn at different locations. The gold phased flow controller was right where I was hoping. Sadly, I broke my leg from a fall in A3. Woke up and was flashing red. Guy became dehydrated a couple minutes later, so I used oxygenated blood to drink water. The oxygenated blood killed me within 20 seconds of dosing. I might be the only player in DayZ’s history to die directly from a oxygenated blood dose🤦🏼♂️

Hello mate! Very informative video, but i have a question to ask. I got everything to craft 2 suits, but can i immediately craft a second suit and a friend picks it up while the gas leak is fixed, or can't i craft one once gas is off? also have one of those anti toxic sticks so one could craft while its still on, but why if not necessary
Yes you can craft a second suit, but he/she has to be the one to come wear and pick up the suit. You can not carry the suit, you can only wear it (you can carry the helmet though). Also as long has your friend has the NBC gear and gas mask he does not run the risk of getting the toxic gas disease. Also what do you mean by "anti-toxic sticks"?
@@Moondust219 ahhh, yeah the PO-X is only used to treat the disease given when too much gas has been inhaled. You could go in and come with the disease but good luck finding a PO-X
So it depends on whats in the console, (In A3), when you turn on the portal to go to lantia. If the "PHASED flow controller" is used, then a storm appears when the portal closes killing anyone who stayed after the portal closes, you can avoid dying by logging out.. waiting some time.. then logging back in. But if you use a regular flow controller or no flow controller at all, then nothing bad happens afterwards.. you'll just be stuck in lantia. In order to get from lantia back to namalsk, you'll need someone in A3 to turn the portal back on. If you make it thru the portal before link stabilization you'll end up in A3, if you go thru the portal after link stab. you'll end up somewhere random in namalsk. Do note that there is a graze period before you can turn on the portal again in A3, somewhere around 12 minutes after the portal closes.
@@potatoch7p ok so people who just play solo cant experience much from Lantia as its supose to be. its kinda fail from who ever made this mod/map, you will always need someone at A3 to make it worth a journey to Lantia, you just cant explore Lantia in 3 minutes its completely impossible even if you know the fastest route unless you want to get stuck in there until someone appears which is not impossible but its kinda boring and probably not worth it. sad =(
@@bastian5821 unfortunately your right, its a huge bummer that you can't create a portal in lantia, to fully have as much time in lantia to explore you will need at least one other person for the journey
Hi there one more question how does it work if you log out at Lantia before Sandstorm hits. I was thinking of using the Hyper-oxygenated and then logging out. Doesnt the effect of the medication last if you log out immediately and log in afterwards?
I actually have never thought of that! I do know that once you leave the server and come back, your visor will be open and depressurized. You should have enough time to re-pressurize before passing out but i've never tried it before, depends on how long it takes for you to join the server. Im pretty sure the Hyper Ox. blood will wear off, but again not a 100%
@@potatoch7p Thanks for the reply. Yeah i heard about the Visor comming up when logging in. Was also thinking off logging of at the inner circle before the sandstorm hits. If the Visor is up it shouldnt matter because the inner circle you dont need a mask right? I will ask my friends to open the portal of the orb again later :) and leave Lantia later afterwards. The Hyper-oxygenated maybe also works because it last 30 seconds and logging out is already 15 seconds as soon you hit Exit button.

Yeah I keep seeing conflicting info I'm on the same step. A bunch of forum posts say it now only spawns on the oil rig but used to be in the ARI basement, if you can't find it on the rig idk what you're supposed to do, did you figure this out?
@@BamBamZ_Gaming yeah it now only spawns on the oil rig (but there's only one at a time per server typically and it can be somewhere hard to find like on top of the crane)
i see that, just i think im missing something. you say you have 7 minutes in Lantia, but then you say you can stay as long as you want. Also, where can you find the access card? @@potatoch7p
@@Hotecce1the access card is only on the skat12 submarine, I believe you can stay in lantia after the portal closes (assuming you have the spacesuit) but it will be a one way journey unless you have a friend remain behind to open a portal for you
@@rustypotatos There are two special weapons, M4A1 and the AUR AX, Theres a special pen in lantia known as the Vega N7-PAN which makes you immune to zombies for 45 minutes and if you're interested there are lore documents there as well. Hyper-Oxginated blood can also be found there but that pen is used more for staying in lantia for long periods of time and not dying of hunger/thirst

@@Pink_Andromeda Yup there might be like a 5-10 minute delay from the end of the storm but after that delay you can start another one up

When you activate the A3 signal, do you take the locator and keycard with you or leave them in the control panel?

if you want to stay in lantia long term after portal closure, youll eventually need to eat/drink, if you pop a hyper blood itll give you time to eat
Been playing Namalsk since LONG before the DayZ Standalone. How long do the batteries and o2 last?
it lasts a solid amount of time, id say they both last maybe 30minutes - 1 hour

Did you check up on the oil rig tower? I found one on the second platform up there
