RPM products are awesome!! Those hubs are great.. A little tip for your subscribers. And your self.. A 24 hr. Soak in WD-40 silacone base lub. Will help with flex.. You also should have put a small amount of bearing oil in the new bearings. And also should have cleaned and oiled the stock outter bearing before reinstalling into new hubs.👍👍 IMO I also have the RPM hubs and pins for now..But
Those threaded pins should have been a full 4mm thread if you notice the treaded end is smaller. It's a 3mm thread. If you launch the X sometimes they will break.. the CEN hing pins are a full 4mm a little beefier thread. Then RPMs you can also use the pins on the upper and outter hinges. A little mod to the pin head is all that's needed. To the upper outter fronts for the steering arm on caster for clearance... a dremel will take care of it or grinder... just food for thought bud.
Good video man👍👍 you should take a look at the new arms from traxxas the HD arms they are sweet. About to switch over to them. And see how they work. Soaked them in WD-40 sliacone for about 48hrs. Love the X such a beast.... keep up the vids man.

Thanks man! Yeah I didn’t realize that til later that I should have applied some lubricant to the new bearings…I have tried using wd40 on stock arms before but I didn’t like how greasy it made everything….it definitely makes it more flexible though…I have seen the Traxxas HD arms but I haven’t tried them

@@RCKnockout what's up bud. What type of WD-40 did you use. You got to use the silicone style of WD.. Not the regular WD40. The silicone style wont be greasy.. With the bearings I use 3and1 dry LUBE. It helps a little with the crap sticking to them.. maybe some dust but not as much sand and dirt... happy bashing bud 👍👍

I went with the traxxas HD arms. I’ve heard they are better than rpm. Rpm is great for almost everything else but the xMaxx arms.
I’ve heard from several people. But everyone gonna have different experiences. Thanks for the video.

I literally bought my xmaxx on Nov 13 2022.. and the stock rear hubs are the exact same as the rpms I just got.. here I thought that my xmaxx had tiny bearings in the hubs and I come to find out the bearings in my stock hubs are the same size as the rpms ones.. anyone else bought a new xmaxx this year and have that happen lol
