The collar is put on a yearling cow. This young cow will certainly grow larger. How often does the collar have to be refitted so it will not strangle the elk?
At least I now know I'm not the only one who's almost been run over by a cow elk! Let me know when you get bit by an otter to tie me for weird wildlife experiences😂.
