I loved how when I was playing this game with my partner it mostly seemed kid friendly. I checked the age rating and it's friendly. I see they saved the cursing for these two

@Matthew Flores it isn’t canon. The game was deliberately written to *not* have a canon ending. It has never been stated anywhere by the developers that one ending is the “true” one. We can argue that Leo dying is the more *realistic* ending, or that we *prefer* the ending where Leo dies, but that doesn’t make it the “canon ending”. The entire point of the game’s ending is that the player who survives has to sit with what they’ve done, just like the character does - there’s no good ending, no bad ending, and no true ending. They were written to be equal. This easter egg is referring to the betrayal, not the death.
@@klebermarchand Maybe one day they would. If they ever have a story set in the same world as A Way Out. Would be cool to hear, but anything they do will ultimately make someone in the world mad

@@geoffreygoncalves931 Its always nice to have family, and/or friends to play games with you, sadly, I don't have the same exact luxury. Hope you're both doing good, lol.
A Way Out was actually a great game- albeit a little short and a tad bit clunky in some sections. But I played it with a friend of mine and really getting into it- immersed in the story as two criminals on the run trying to break out of prison, it was great. Love to see that the game is still remembered and honored through this easter egg. I might have to play *this* game with that same friend now.
Is anyone puzzled on what Leo is pissed off at Vincent about for this scene? It's either the latter's betrayal in accounts being an undercover cop or being killed off by him. If it's the latter, then it's assumed that Vincent living while Leo dies is the canon ending of A Way Out.
@@MemeSlayer No, it has never been confirmed, A Way Out does not have a canon ending. This easter egg is referencing Vincent betraying Leo, not killing Leo.
When you play the mini-game “Feed The Reptile!”, you can hear Cody say “Raindrops” as he scores a shot. Everyone's talking about how the easter egg makes one ending canon, but I saw this as a little afterlife/post credit deal where they become partners/frenemies
This easter egg is so sad and downright emotional just shows hoe these character got their fate set in stone if you look at them from different prespectives
So does this mean Vincent killing Leo is canon. Because he saying things like that he'll get him, but when leo found out about him, they instantly started to fight and ended it
I kinda wish there was an ending where neither of them died. But the only thing I can think of is if Leo injured Vincent and dipped to another country as soon as he got home. But idk what Vincent can do after though
@@tonythunder6048 the obvious (and most realistic) one would be that vincent shoots leo in the leg and leo goes back to prison. it’s already unrealistic that leo is able to escape after shooting vincent, so it’s either leo goes to prison or vincent decides to betray the police force and run away with leo - but i don’t know how realistic it is that they’d actually manage that. would be a great ending though, realism aside
