Seconds hand does not hit the seconds indices. This is a required feature of a quality quartz watch, just like a quality mechanical watch should be adjusted and regulated.
I think this is a very tastefully done field watch. To me, the competition would come from Victorinox, although his Vaer seems to have slightly nicer details and the owners appear to be passionate about their product. I agree that a field watch is an excellent choice for a casual watch that can satisfy a person who wants a simple but reasonably well made timepiece. Nothing wrong with the Ronda quartz movement, either. Yeah, it's a shame it doesn't hit the index marks but that seems to be a very hit-or-miss occurrence at these price points.
I love the face , Lume is Very Nice . I noticed the second hand is not hitting the marks right on , looks a little behind . I'm honestly not really picky about that , but My Wegner field watch that I only Paid $38 for on Amazon hits the marks perfect and Has the same Quality Lume, same WR at 100 M and the same Glass I believe, but I am Probably wrong on the Glass part , if so there's the price difference . I'm only making the comparison since this watch is around $150-175 . It was just a little something I noticed . But you do receive Two NATO straps so that's a Big Plus . And that Watch Face and that case are very Beautiful. I would get one on looks alone , and that there American Made , even Better . I love All your reviews and content , thank you so much . Have a great and Blessed evening Aron 👍
Thanks Steven! Very much appreciated. I have gotten over the second hand being perfectly aligned. It's a common occurrence on these movements. They make up for it with perfect timekeeping!! Thanks for tuning!!😊👍
i have , the Wegner Attitude heritage black dial 01.1541.111 and yes it does hit the second marks but i also have the Vaer S5 which also hits the marks with a Japanese Miyota 2035 . i have noticed some quartz watches even the same movement miss the second marks and expensive Ones too !
죄송하지만 구매 안 하시는 걸 추천드립니다. 리뷰영상에 C3 시계 Vaer Watches 공홈을 통해 직구했습니다. I‘ll say it: the 40 mm doesn’t wear perfect on you - to me it is clearly too large, particularly for a field watch. I have a seven inch wrist and I‘d take the more authentic and practical 36 mm without even thinking.
Kind of a back to basic watch which looks quite well done. And for a tad over 150$ with sapphire crystal and a Ronda movement, it seems like a great buy. A watch which is versatile and can take a beating. Perfect for those who need only one watch, throw it on a leather strap and no one should give u the stink eye wearing it with a suit.
I have a filson mackinaw 38 that’s very similar to this that I wear as a tool watch, but I’m very tempted to pick one of these up with the field white dial
I don't know, I recently go a Vaer quartz watch, model C5. The one with the 40mm blue face. The design is cool but I would say the quality is just average. And the pins that hold the strap in are only too happy to fall out. I don't know, I like the plain look but it's just okay.
Simple watch with just enough features to make it interesting and attractive. Better than the Boldr Venture because of the date complication and screw-down crown. Thanks for the video!👍🏼
Love field style watches, own a Seiko SNK 807 and a Boldr Venture, I noticed like the Boldr this watch’s Quartz movements second hand doesn’t Line up with the numericals. I thought it was a Boldr problem but maybe it’s a Swiss Quartz movement problem. Nice watch for the money. ⌚️⌚️⌚️
I have a small wrist, love their 36mm version! Awesome watch! Bought the black and green. I have a few watches, but will never need anything else. Excellent silicon band great Horween bands.
If hadn’t bought the Hammy I would have bought this Field watch.....🙈 A interresting company VAER, hope they make it, it’s a hard competition out there!! One-watch-a-life-time is a tricky one, not good for good sales numbers!!🙈😉Look at Apple, these phones only last 2-3 year, = good for sales!!😉😉
We're glad to hear that! Hamilton is a huge inspiration to us - they make such great time pieces. The last thing that we'd want is our watches failing to that people need to buy another - that would be so much waste! We build a quality watch meant to last for many years, and if our customers want to buy another different design or color, then that works for us too!
Great watches from Vaer , i have S5 , C5 with Horween Leather coming , And will be buying Automatic Next ! Keep up the Great Work Vaer you have a loyal customer Here !
I was just reading a post on Vaer’s website Journal and they specified the “Classic” no-date model uses the Ronda 763 and the “Field” model with date uses the Ronda 715. I’m not sure where these movements fall in the quality lineup from Ronda, I believe the 715 is a popular quartz movement right behind the 515.
That is a nice watch. Thing is, I don't mind quartz per se. But boy howdy, those ticking seconds had damn well better be Trijicon precise on those markers. :-/ That's a real shame. Love the specs though. Hadn't heard of these guys. I'll go check them out. And, heck, add a single letter 'D' to that logo and you'd have a kick ass brand name. Just sayin'. Cheers OFD!

That's a good read. Thanks for taking the time. Unfortunately I'm an obsessive dude about such things. It's not like I can't deal, but when things aren't square, parallel or what have you it feels like white noise right behind my eyes. Cools watch though, love the filed look, great size. It'll be on my list as a potential gift. Cheers.
Nothing special about this watch Boldr venture is around the same price $144 and it comes with titanium case sapphire crystal and ETA802 .102 swiss movement
Mark Wayne but this one has a screw down crown. I have seen a few video that there is QC issues with Boldr Venture Dial that is a bit misaligned. Been thinking also to pickup either one between Boldr venture or this Vaer. Its quite a tough choice
@@TheAlucard900 I've only heard about the misaligned dial in one video, vaer is a new micro brand so we will have to wait and see if the deliver a high quality product .
Mark Wayne agree with you. What do you think about the second hands doesn’t hit the mark? My personal views i dont mind unless I bought it more than 1k. Haha for me, like Boldr really tick so many box of my criteria especially with those 38mm cases, titanium, 100m wr and lume numeric.
@@TheAlucard900 I don't mind the seconds hand not hitting the mark I bought my boldr venture for $126+ free shipping, like you said I would be concerned about it if I paid a premium price for it but it's only $126 and I'm getting swiss or Japanese movement + titanium case and sapphire crystal so it's not a bad deal

funny you mentioned Timex, when I saw it I thought it looked like a Weekender or Expedition on steroids.

Excellent Ronda movement. A lot better than what Momentum field watches are using, and most at this price point.

A beaut. I hope they start making automatics.

That would be a great showdown!!😊
It would really come down to your size preference and which movement you prefer?
