That mission was tough for SA rating... Who would have thought you have to shoot that car to lure the guards so that you can have mr. inspector all alone for the taking☺
+SylarSilent You can also make swat guys turn around by walking near them. Then use your fiber wire.
You can also shoot him from a nearby alley. The gun doesn't even need to be silenced, they will react and come investigate, but even if they see you with your guns out, they won't attack you.
@@TRG_real I just tried that. But I did not get SA rating for some reason, had to do the car trick for it to work.

@@TRG_real nope, i just shot the inspector in the head with the Silencer pistol which I got from the locked room in the hotel(after sedating the police officer standing in front of it)
That's the only shot i fired. No one noticed me killing the target and I ran to the exit... also I'm playing on Professional level

47: It's amazing how they got in the force with such "keen" and "sharp" senses...
Literally a group of civilians watching behind the road blocks on every side...and 47 kills him right in front of them.... to get "silent assassin" lol

Second favourite mission in the franchise for me since this reminds me of the ending to The Professional. I like Redemption at Gontranno the most as it's like the ending to The Killer.

It's cool that the ending of contracts... the "hit" that ended with 47 being shot and having these flashbacks...was incorporated into the story into blood money's 3rd mission. So they were talking about the franchise at the end of contracts clearly. The mission flatline after curtains down in blood money, they clearly talk about a doc they never seen before that looked "albino", "wanted to see the ONE patient in confinement", ..."not so nice". "Only seen the one patient and left" etc....So it was Mark Parchezzi 3rd who had Smith locked up down there obviously. "We had our best agent on the spot" was usually always a class 2 clone from Jack's "franchise". He wanted cloning illegal, because he wanted that power to himself and the franchise. To take out his competition the ICA. That's his primary motive, and the plot just about. He got all of the Ortmeyer files etc.. that he could, and almost had 47's bone marrow if not for Diana and their "death serum" used in flatline for the first time.

You CAN kill Richard Delahunt and the opera singer (Renamed as Alvaro d' Alvade)
But that actually happens in Hitman Blood Money.

First playthrough. Started with C47, then SA and now Contracts. Rough but what a game! It got me hooked.
that is how great of a hitman/assassin 47 is, took out his target and got out of it un-noticed when at first he was trap when the entire police force was around him. Can always rely on your local police force they said, you will be protected they said. LOL

You can find a silenced pistol in that same room where you got the second syringe. So you can shoot the car without guards being alarmed.

Great game and great mission.....this one pays homage to the movie Leon: The Professional with the ending both having the protagonist in a hotel surrounded by SWAT and taking the disguise as a cop to get out. Sometimes I would just arm myself with an M60 and just mow everyone down lolz.

It's apart of the story, the two targets that are dead are the 2 guys from the Hitman : Blood Money Opera level, the story of Hitman Contracts is 47 having flashbacks after he got shot after the Opera level in Blood money. If you play Blood money, you will hear Diana say to him : "I'm glad you're recovering well 47", Most of Hitman Blood money takes place after Contracts. The scene on the plane from this video is before the second half of Blood money.
Remember the cutscene after the opera level in Blood money where 47 walks out of the building and you can see a guy loading a handgun before the scene ends? That's the guy who shot 47 after he left, this is when Hitman Contracts takes place, 47 runs back to his apartment with his bullet wound and passes out, the agency sends a doctor to his building. While this is happening 47s career is flashing before his eyes, and most of the levels from Hitman Contracts are just his memories.

1:05 I've played this mission a dozen times and finished it and never failed a single time and did it with different approaches but I never knew about that window trick!! O_O
Sorry I'm late and you probably did figure this out but it is also possible to drop down from that same rooftop, but you have to be careful with your landing and there are two guards patrolling that way. Its also the fastest way to the paramedic but the only backlash is that sometimes a random swat guard will run out into the area (the music will indicate it) so you have to be careful with your movement to avoid triggering that.

This level is similar to the climax scene of movie Leon The Professional.
Hum...what were they referring to at the end? I haven't fully passed Blood Money. Is that why Diane uses the syringe on 47 at the end of the 4th game?
Since you haven't finished Blood Money as of when you commented last, spoilers are here.
Diana and 47 are almost definitely referring to The Franchise. It's implied they tipped Fournier off about his impending assassination attempt, so Fournier shot him. 47 never leaves witnesses, and during the intro to Contracts, he said it was impossible for someone to recognize him. Remember that this game occurs the same night as Curtains Down in Blood Money, and after that mission, you see an officer cocking his pistol. The flashbacks are irrelevant to the reason 47 was shot; they were just near-death dreams slightly altered by the doctor's anesthetic.
This just builds the plot Blood Money sets up. To answer your question, do you remember the death serum and antidote from Flatline? It lowers blood pressure just enough that the target appears dead, and the antidote is applied to the lips. Diana injected 47 with it, used the antidote as lipstick during one of the cutscenes, and kissed him during the funeral. She left his Silverballers as what appeared as a show of respect. 47 didn't know her plan, but I assume he figured it out when he woke up and killed everybody there. Diana was just giving him a way to get close to the next target, as she always does, and that was the best way to get close to the leadership of a group that's been killing off the ICA.
There's some other slightly related stuff in the newest game, but that's another story.

I always imagined that if it was cinematic that 47 would be holding a gun at them and only the crowd could see so they would know to shut up or they die. Either that, or we can assume that all officers in the area are too busy communicating with each other to listen to the pedestrian.
Also the mission in Russia didn't rain but it was snow so its better to say that this mission is the only one to have no precipitation
The rain represents the hallucinations that 47 is experiencing while unconscious.

Am I the only one that thinks 47 was a little tipsy in the beginning maybe he was drinking a bit lol :D
But think about it, he was recovering from a gunshot wound, those wounds are the fun king hell to recover, so it's very painful, anyone would want to be as sedated as possible to avoid the pain.

The two other "targets" are already dead when the mission starts (That's why 47's being hunted in the first place), them being in the objectives list is just for story purposes. This game takes place after Blood Money's "Curtains Down" mission, where you eliminate the two other people this game mentions. At the end of that mission, 47 gets shot by a police officer in the streets and this game begins.
Best way to escape: Ambulance!
