In this beginners guide tutorial I anser the question on how you would stop something spawning in the Contaminated Gas Zone, eg at Rify, and make it spawn somewhere else.
I use this as an opportunity to discuss how the loot & gear spawning in DayZ works, and how you can edit the types.xml file on your Community Server to move items around.
