forgot how good this is. stopped listening to paloma about 6 years ago because Paloma was the spitting double of my ex at the time and felt alittle bit too painful too watch or listen too. now 6 years later i accidently come across this again and its like listening too it for the first time. absolutely adore Paloma's first two albums. what a voice and truly stunning

This song used to break me. When me and my ex partner got together he was separated from his wife. He kept pictures of their wedding day on his phone for the first 7/8 months we were together. I always felt not good enough and like there was three of us in the relationship. Little did I realise.. in truth he didn’t deserve me from day one. It’s nice to listen to this without that feeling 👍🏻

This song is ridiculously underrated. So overlooked! It's a huge shame coz it's absolutely stunning. The video is also one of the absolute best videos in the last decade or so.

I have always thought that. Adele has a good voice but Paloma writes most of her own music and directs all her own videos. Paloma is one of the very few artists who has a lot of creative control and is undeservedly underrated. Such a shame as she is my favourite artist of this century along with Beverley Knight who is also criminally underrated.

I used to listen to this song so much. I always found myself writing letters to a friend of mine 600 miles away. We spoke about our hopes and dreams. At the time, I was in the middle of a relationship where my then-partner was pretty much absent. That friend I wrote is now my love. We've been together for 9 years now. He helped me pick up all the pieces.
This song is just like wow! The emotion the pain the lyrics, just wow! Loved it since it was released just one of those songs that make u think of the people you have loved and lost xx

I remember the first time I heard this song. It drew me in straight away and I still connect to it all this time later. Also grateful because it introduced me to Paloma Faith (I had heard previous music but this made me a complete fan girl).

This is my first acquaintance with Paloma Faith's music and I think she is awesome. How come she has not been more of a frontliner on the circuit ? The arrangement, vocals, vid and emotions...reminds me ot The Ronettes in the 60's. Spector's arrangements.

I am totally enamoured with this song, and this lady. Paloma Faith is such an incredible artist, her music and words speak volumes. If I had not already met my hubby, the love of my life.... I would be totally confused... half of me would want to be Paloma's big brother and protect her from whatever life throws at her... the other half would want to marry her in an instant... for all her fragility, she has always shown so much strength. A beautiful dichotomy ! I absolutely adore and admire this lady and her creativity ! xxx

She sings on a new Amazon Prime series that just started called Vanity Fair, so I looked her up on ITunes, and I can’t stop listening to her records. Why have I never heard of her? This is fantastic. Paloma has a wonderful voice and bold lyrics, and I love this music video: the elegant setting, the emotions of the characters and actors, the clothing, and the melting scenes remind me of the opening of Dark Souls II. This video is simply a wonderful experience

I have never heard of Gin Wigmore before, and I always check out the artist that someone recommends through another artist that I like and they are almost always really bad and not what I'm into at all (everyone is different). But I love the few songs I have listened to of hers (He Ho, another old one from 11 years ago, and then her newest one from one month ago). I can't get over how similar their voices are!! (Her new voice has kinda changed, but still good -I haven't listened enough to know completely)😂😂

I can relate to these lyrics so much 😢 My next project: Learn to sing this song. I'm nowhere near as good as Paloma lol but singing is such a great way to release so many different emotions, I do it as therapy for depression, anxiety and panic attacks. It's a much healthier way than self-harm too, I know from personal experience. I hope everyone is doing well :) xoxo
