He was very well known in the industry still as TVXQ and as his own solo career and JYJ so he still gathered a lot of fans.
Both Belle and Julie were on this Hello82 episode a couple months ago where they interacted with Rima and Nina from NiziU, JYP's Japanese girl group. They spoke in English(all of them are fluent) and it was really cute. I hope you'll get to react to it one day.
