For "OLD RECIPE" room, click on the recipe to read it, the answer to the lock will be the first letter of each of the ingredients. It took me a minute...
31:37 I used the temporal rift to go to a higher floor. I am not sure if this is what you are referring to but I did mention that the animas were on different floors and I wasn’t sure if it’s setup differently for each player. I didn’t show it much beyond that because all the other ones were already in the correct position apparently and I was automatically sent to the next part of the quest.

I've played this game for 20 years and hearing you say that before it actually happened in the video really ticked me off because I was doing the quest along with you and would have liked to savor the moment of realization - "No freaking way!? All these years and the librarian was Charos the whole time?!". you did not need to say that before the actual reveal in the quest. damn man
Regarding the portal for the puzzles to unlock the doors, I found it much easier to just stand on the same spot if the portal was persistent to that spot to unlock the door I wanted, if this helps. Also, at the end where you tune all those green snot things, you can just click on the floor to skip the whole dialogue and the scenes too.

I'm kinda stuck on the part of the quest where Charos requires the 4 items, right now it only highlights *gleaming energy* despite me having all required items in my inventory. And he wants me to get the dominarian device from Everlight Digsite. What do I do?
I am not sure what you mean by highlights gleaming energy? Maybe double check the chat options you are selecting - as in actually read the text because that part about the everlight dig site sounds like you are trying to talk to him about something else. You should also check your quest log, it usually gives you some kind of idea as to what you are supposed to do next, basically indicating what step you might have missed.

Might do text overlay at 24:30 for the dummies like me who don't hear "and pick those up", if you don't pick up those mask pieces quickly they despawn rather fast and you have to reset that part of the quest. No complaint from me, just trying to help the next dummy along the way.
I've ran all over the place taking so many random directions/routes and the 5th sliske is still not spawning, any ideas? Been stuck on 4/5 for half an hour

Not sure if this helpful or it might bite me later in the guide. As I was doing the first puzzle with the doors and the slider I did not do all of the previous steps that were in the guide. I went to the "empty chest" room first, did my 4 letters and received 3 tiles of information for the slider puzzle. I proceeded to go through the next portal, and the first room I selected was another "empty chest room" so I did it. Upon finishing it revealed all of the slider locations. Again maybe I skipped something or perhaps I didn't see it through and I will have to come back. Food for thought.
Okay did the black knight fortress area and whatnot and I travel to Varrock to the library and I don’t see Charos anywhere and I even tried talking to Reldo or whatever but it doesn’t give me anything I need to continue … wtf???

I cant seen to get into the black knights fortress after completing the slider puzzle. I put on the bronze full helm and iron chainbody but they won't let me in still.
@sikovit Edit: I read on the wiki it said to grab a set of the elite black knight armor from the edgeville monastery so i put that on and it let me walk in.
I didn't skip anything. I mentioned in the video that the setup for that part may be different for each player. Personally all I had to do was adjust 1 anima, go through a temporal rift to get to a higher floor then adjust another anima. That's it..3 steps which were all shown in the video. Once everything is correct, you are automatically sent to the next part of the quest. I couldn't really do anything about that but if you have something different, the video wouldn't be of any help for that part regardless. You just have to locate the animas and adjust them, there's only 4 in total I believe.
Not true..I tested this prior to putting that in the video and just did it again. I did mention in the video that there were other options, that’s just the easiest one to get. Are you just assuming it won’t work because you used something else? The bronze med helm and iron chainbody is what the guards wear, essentially you are disguised as a guard.
@@SikovitRS not sure if it was from a quest or if you’re missing an item other then med helm and iron chain but I literally took off my hsr and khops because I thought that interfered with it to fully taking off all cosmetic overrides, to say the least I ended up up going to the bank for the armour you used in the video

PRO TIP: If you are having trouble with the sliding puzzles: Look up on Google "Sliding Puzzle 3x3 solver" and you can use that to help you quickly and easily solve these puzzles. Not even a challenge anymore. Hope this helps.

Hop worlds to reset the puzzle if the puzzle seems too difficult.
