This song always makes me think of my husband. He passed away Feb. 18 2022. And I remember the first time we heard it together we sat together and cried. We knew he was going to pass on and this song really meant so much to us. Thank you Johnny Reid💗
A wonderful man introduced me to Johnny Reid. Unfortunately George and I never met but I hope, should we have a next life, we will. Johnny Reid is now my FAVORITE Artist. I hope one day I shall see Johnny in concert.
I had 3 favorite singers in my lifetime- Wilf Carter, George Jones and , now, Johnny Reid. He has the most beautiful voice.
I believe Johnny dedicated this song to his loving dog...phenomenal song.

Played this song for my dads funeral in October this year. played some of your others while in his last day her on earth. It soothed him throughout his suffering. This song Described his personality to a T. He always wanted to see you live but was always too ill. He would have loved knowing your music and voice was the last to represent him here on earth. Love Johnny Reid .His voice is amazing. I have s friend a CD of Johnny's and he loved it. Sad to say I am going to say goodbye to him tommorow . He is ready for his journey now. Been listening to until we meet again,my old friend,and this is not goodbye as I think of him.

While I was in Winnipeg for my sister in law funeral, my sister played this cd for me. Never heard of this singer before when I went back to New York I went and bought his cd . Love. All of his songs.

Johnny I love every song you sing. I have been trying to look for a song that you sang at the Merritt Country Music Festival a few years ago. I was there with my sister and it caught us by surprise. It was so beautiful and we both instantly connected to it. Our father had passed in a helicopter accident and was missing for a few months. Will never get over that but your song just made us cry and release all the love that we have felt for our dad. It was an amazing and beautiful moment. Thank you!

Perhaps you have not heard of him because he's Canadian. He was born and spent his first 15 years (?) in Scotland, then came to Canada. He is huge in the Canadian Country music scene. I was at his concert last night in Halifax, Nova Scotia (New Scotland). He puts on an awesome show.

On Feb 1/2023 l recieved a call from my son saying his dad passed away this hit me extremely hard as we remained really good friends and the love was still there between us and he had gone through quauted triple bypass surgery and he didn't really recover from that and then shortly after that he was told he had ALS and it progressed really fast the saddest part is l never had the chance to say bye and that broke my heart so l'm helping and being there for our son l pray he's at peace now and not suffering anymore until till we meet again you will be forever in my heart l love you 💔😢😢😢
