Even though it's a great, nostalgic image maker, I wouldn't bother with the Konica Minolta Maxxum 5D. It is 15 years old, and in many cases suffers from dying shutter and AS mechanism. If easy level Sony Alpha/Minolta mount cameras is your path, go with the A400/500/33/55 series with a cheap Minolta 50mm 1.7 lens.

really saw better photos all around from 5d

lower noise in every photo with the 5D.....I can get one for around 30$..and use my sony a mount lens with it...thinking about it.
