The problem with Sony phones is that it is too manual. Sony phones can take incredible photos and videos when used by professionals.

If you meet with Sony, tell them to bring back the 960 fps mode to the Xperia 1 VI with better quality and longer record time (2-3 second) with end trigger mode.

960 FPS is almost useless. If it comes to cinematography, 120 fps is totally enough
@@dawidzarnowski5248 I know 120 fps is good for most stuff. Still 960 fps would be a big step up for really fast moving stuff which I shoot. The reason it was near useless on the past Xperia phones was the low quality/compression and the ridiculously short record time (0.25 seconds I think) with no end trigger record mode which made it near impossible to capture the perfect moment. If Sony can improve on those things, it would be a great feature. Better to push Sony to add these higher frame rate features to get even ahead of the competition.

Is the S-Cinetone feature available in Cinema Pro? Really like the 21:9 aspect ratio and Venice Look, am curious if it can be stacked, as in Venice + S-Cinetone in Cinema Pro to get that look in less time?
nope. it is only available in photo pro and video pro
@@deadworms That’s a damn shame. You lose that easy shareability if you want proper HDR on Sony vs on iPhone. Was hoping it was something done this gen - but from what I hear the next one launches in Feb (maybe another April/May actual market release). But fingers crossed for tech that speeds up the process to get better shareable footage.

I bought the Sony Xperia I-Pro because I saw the amazing work you did with it. I am extremely disappointed with the xperia phone (Battery drain too fast, overheat, ect, strange HDR color science) but I am still a big fan of your work. By now I believe you can make any phone look great...lol. Gonna wait for the next Iphone this time.
I have the same device and i am fully satisfied with it. Agreed it's not a auto mode champion so I'll suggest you watch some video tutorials on how to shoot in manual B&H videos are a good start
It's better that he buys an iPhone he doesn't know how to use a phone like a Photographer
