If you pour methyl hydrate onto the top of the paint you are using in the hopper not only does it stop a skin from forming on the paint it also keeps the paint from adhering to the suction and return tube so there is no need to waste all that masking tape. However you need to watch the paint level because if it starts suckling up the methyl hydrate your line width will expand as the paint won't be as viscus

How long can you leave paint in the lines? Do you need to clean out every day?
TURN THE PUMP DOWN FOR GOD SAKE. IT DOES NOT NEED TO BE AT FULL PRESSURE TO CLEAN IT!!!! YOU ARE GONNA MAKE SOMEONE CREATE A MAJOR MESS.
