Ahhh! This is freedom for those who didn’t get their questions answered (mine included) back in the 80’s- early 2000’s. Thank you Sounds True! This is liquid gold. ❤️
To feed secure attachment one needs to feel from therapist or other people who they looking to attach, 1. Prosody-tone of voice 2. Skin to skin contact 3.Eye Contact 4. Presence - to be here and show up 5. Attuned (20-30 % of time can repair attachment up to 80%) 🙏❤️
@@danijeladragosavljevic3641 I've tried lots of therapists but none of them was like that. I had one person who successfully fooled me into thinking he was emotionally connectng wth me when really he was using it as an excuse to get physically/sexually close to me. Not sure where else to look or what else to try. What am I doing wrong?
Silvy Honey, I am really sorry for that. It is a learning process, Just the fact you've realized that you don't want that kind of relationship with another person. It gives you opportunity to talk to that person and try to explain what you need or to communicate it to the next person you meet. I think the biggest problem for people in therapy is that we all want to be fixed, but what we need is just to learn how to better understand our selves and act upon it. There is no end... It is a process... You are in the process and you adjust to the environment around you the best you can. I hope I manged to communicate compassion in this message cause that is what I was trying to say. Take care.
@@danijeladragosavljevic3641 I'm not sure I understand you, or maybe you misunderstood me. I guess I just meant that I wanted a person who can have empathy and connect with me when I talk to them. Most therapists I've seen were cold and stone-faced and invalidated my feeliings, etc. It seems to me impossible to attach to someone who is detached like that, but maybe it's because I've been abused in the past by people like that. Maybe other people can find comfort in a cold person and find a sense of security in it. I only saw a couple who weren't like that and didn't see them for long due to circumstances.

Is it even possible to find a person like that?
I think it is worth trying.
