@@John_Fx None of what you said matters. Chris Cornell covered this song back on 3/12/11(someone did happen to upload it here on yt) and he said they were an awesome band. What's the rating on Chris Cornell saying your band is awesome and covering one of your songs? I don't know but it means more than your opinion, that's for sure. lol
I was listening to Chris Cornell the other day (Rip 🙏❤️) it was a best covers playlist and before he started he was like “This song here is from a badass band” Dont let anyone ever tell you guys you aren't making great music. Chris knew it was 🔥 and I did too when I listened. Bravo 👏 hope to see y'all in Ohio or Detroit sometime keep those speakers and amps hot!
Your missing out they are fantastic. I was one of the rare ones that was shocked he'd ever heard of Ghostland Observatory let alone cover them. His version isn't bad at all but prefer this original. If you dig this you'd probably enjoy their other material.
I’ve seen them live in Minneapolis twice. They will melt your face off. I was literally jumping in the air the whole time I saw them last and subsequently lost my phone:)
I remember they opened up for NIN nine inch nails in San Antonio about 10yrs ago. First time seeing them. Or hearing them. Been a fan since then. And the lasers epic !
I'm from a small town. Moved to the city. My best friend introduced me to their music. It definitely wasn't my kind of music until it was. Almost 15 years later I still love GLO
I first heard them in a tiny rural town in ' O8... blasted them whilst my hubby made Chilli and my dude friends/ family came over to mow down. My dude relative danced to this...he can dance and pointed out that I resembled him. I do sometimes...been told this a few times. Yeah I am a girl, but he looks like a dude relative. Chill. cleaned hotel rooms to all sorts of music and news.
Miss our late night fb pings, than phone calls, bong rip shares from Texas to NYC. Wish you were still here miss you brother! Rip Matt and ty for your service to us.. 💜🅐🅡🅜🅨⁷⟬⟭💜
1st time I heard this I was 15. My brother took me to my first college party and somewhere along the night this song came on. I liked it so much I asked around for the song name and somebody gave me the name. That was 15 years ago!
I was bar tending on a random Sunday night in 2008.... upon cleaning I must’ve hit 2 instead of off on the tv and this popped up. I had the bar music in but found myself giggling at the visual of these two guys and thought to myself “I’ve gotta hear this” so I turned down the speakers and turned up the tv... it was around midnight, when Austin City Limits airs... I owned the CD by 1030 the next morning. The old cliche “never judge a book by its cover”
My husband and I had the exact same reaction to them at first sight! Bill was channel surfing as usual and I was on my laptop and everything stopped when that beat and music hit me. I looked them up and really enjoyed a few of their videos and songs. Been ages since I listened to this. Still great!
Abt 2 years later. Big losses, but I am here. Hope people find some peace and joy. Hiking, Journaling, praying , animals, and kind people help. Gratitude and volunteering. Talking to interesting people. Yes, some of the most interesting are travelers, but also right in front of your nose. Take care everyone.
I don't know how this track could have passed me by when he came out. But i know Something. I just want to dance the whole night. What an Amazing Song!!!! Makes me feel young again...
I hear ya! Not going to try it though....I'd probably fall and break a hip! Wonder what they would think of an old hippie like me jamming to their music?
In loving memory of Jim, aka Bruiser, who introduced me to this song. Rest easy, my friend 💜
Still listening to these guys, years later from the first time I watch them on Austin City Limits!❤
Same. I think it was 2008
Bless for Chris Cornel
Bless for Ghotland Observatory
Bless for all coming to this video
A devastatingly underrated band.
You can say that again!
True
Truth!
What was the rating? Did I miss when the ratings came out?
Not surprised they were underrated, catchy tune, but not super talented.

Fortunate to have caught this when it aired. I had no idea what was going on and loved it.

Here for the same reason. Heard Chris Cornell version both are fantastic. RIP Chris.
And in typical Cornell fashion his version is a thousand percent better than the original.
Yeah, it was my lifeline 2010 when I had nothing left that I love 😊 still alive ❤️
I just heard this song and i cant believe it's 5 years old. I play this song all day at work

This is so damn brilliant. About 509 years ago I was turned onto this song. Thank you so much. 🖤
For a 500+ year old person, you look good!

I like this story.
Listening to this Sunday September 4th, 2022 whilst cleaning...starting the week out right. This song brings back memories.

Just heard this song this past December, did not know how old it was. Their energy was perfect especially the vocalist
Saw them when I was 5 at ACL so thankful I got to hear this music growing up let alone see it live seeing them this Halloween. Life long fan :)
Am I the only one who thought this was a Chris Cornell song? Having CC sing my song would mean a lot more to me than an award... 💙
Saw them last night. They rock!
This is a different level of brilliance...

How the fuck are these guys not better recognized?
Idk . I have been listening since " 08
I’ve been a GloHead since 2008 and nothing beats them at red rocks amphitheater in Denver on psilocybin with nothing but body paint on
Robotique Majestique’s review in Pitchfork was the biggest sham of all time. Nothing bagel 🥯. Such an underrated album. Victory Lap 🚗 🔂
They opened for Bassnectar in 2012. Awesome.
Alpharetta in 08-09 with STS9 Nectar and I think Lotus or Lettuce. Can't even remember to forget to remember.
so underrated!!! i love to come back to that song over and over again, even after so many years!!

Somebody needs to tell the Migos that Ghostland Observatory rocks this style before they did. Took his entire fit.
