Man those little engines are so ineffecient. My 2017 Yaris 1.5l with 111 hp got to 5,4l in real daily use. 6-8l for a 79 hp car is just so bad. Those theoretical "low emissions" are just a joke. Its much higher due to downsizing.
I have kia picanto with 84hp and it burns 4,8l in summer and around 6l in winter. Mostly city drive. The car weights 200kg less than stonic so the dynamic is acceptable
The citroen c3 2016-2020 had a 3 cylinder purerech 82hp non-turbo with 5speed manual But the c3 is 100kg lighter 15 cm shorter in length and 5cm in height. 1 sec faster 0-100. Max torque at 2750 rpm compared to Kia stonic 84hp at 4000rpm.
Long live to 4 cilynder engines, nice car
0-100kmh in 2 weeks and max speed in 2 months
thats not true. whats your problem??
@mariemaa25 whst is your problem with your head!?too much hay in it or!?
Please make a pov for the 1.0 turbo mild hybrid version. It's the right engine for this car
No you are wrong LONG LIVE TO THE 4 CILYNDER ENGINES
Nice comment. Ppl dont have any idea fr. Btw. do you have this model? 😍
@mariemaa25 yes i have this version
2025 i kierunkowskazy w błotnikach
Watching without having a car 😅
5hp missing and with a price hike... consumers must be losing their minds if they find this reasonable! Less for more never sounds like a good deal!
i have driven stonic with 1.4 n/a 100 HP - it is quite slow, but with 1.2 is too slow for traffic these days.

New? That car isn't new. It is sold since 2017!
Only 79hp for a crossover?!
Is it a diesel? Never heard of 80 hp in a Kia Stonic. I mean...why...
It used to have 84 hp, but draconian emissions laws hit this engine hard. It's even worse on the 1.0 t-gdi, it lost 20hp!!!

@@kingbreaker1972 mind you though, the kia/hyundai engine is pretty reliable with timing chain and all, the puretech not so much...
Geez this engine must be underwhelming
79hp for a fat ass "small" crossover ?
This needs a turbo engine, sorry
@matthias3959 i agree, i have the 100hp version and it's more faster than this
Pues yo prefiero un atmosférico de 4 cilindros a un turbo de 3
Yo igual
