I went with a SK hynix Platinum P41 2TB PCIe NVMe Gen4 and was glad I did. I was considering the Samsung 990 pro but thankfully didn't buy. I discovered later that time Samsung was having problems with their nvme drive firmware that depleted the drives health.

I got DOA T500. Waiting for return pickup. No replacement option. Since I bought during sale, I will not get the discount if I buy again now. Will wait for the next sale and give another try.
Dont buy T500, get SN700. Its far more cheaper with nearly same performance
@@rajmangalpandey3910 you are comparing a mediocre sn700 gen3 with one of the best gen4 ssds, there can't be anything "nearly the same performance"
