They need her testimony , all they have is circumstancial evidence ... With the level of evidence needed to convict someone beyond reasonable doubt ,it's gonna be hard without her help ...
So you leave your family for another woman ....then you get angry because you are expected to support your own children. So angry about not wanting to be responsible adult that you feel justified to murder your wife and 2 kids. And his mom was thinks the woman wasn't good enough for her son? No woman deserves this kind of husband.

Parole should not exist for serious crimes in my opinion. If you behave yourself in prison then you do your full term, if you don't behave yourself then extra time is added to your sentence.

He should have been charged with torture as well. the planning and time it took him to commit these acts should have been enough for him to be sentenced to life forever.
