@crimsonlegion9729 haha business tax effects hiring and get passed on to employees or lack there of as a result. Only labor shortage is underpaid dead end work like retail and restaurants.
He needs to pay for bringing back all deported illegal immigrants, including criminals, to the U.S. at taxpayer's expense. Pritzger called his bill the new way forward. The bill failed to pass,
so he will try something different.

He should pay it because he is going to prison anyway with his wife.
Remember, this is a man that had all of the "commode's" removed from his mansion except for one, so it could be technically listed as non-habitable and he wouldn't have to pay property taxes on its full value.

Wait. Your governor wants to raise taxes during a time of perpetual inflation while incomes in no way keep up said inflation, yet he thinks that eliminating a grocery tax (your state taxes the food you purchase?) will help?
Well they suspended the tax rate of 1% on edible groceries as an election year vote incentive, but soft drinks, liquor, candy and prepared foods such as some ready to eat deli foods are taxed at 6.25% + local taxes! Pritzker has done so much damage to the state! He doubled the gas tax and when he did that he sneaked in a yearly increase on it, too. It's at 42 cents/gal now and will go to 45 in July. Pritzker has done so much damage to the state Property taxes keep rising! Sane people and businesses that can afford to leave the state are doing so.

Even worse, since his family is part owners in the Hilton chain, when they rent out whole hotels for illegal invaders, he will get the money funneled right into his pocket. Seems like a better plan than Blago shaking down a childrens hospital and trying to sell a senate seat to the highest bidder.

The only good thing he did depending on how you see it, was legalizing marijuana. I honestly cannot think of anything he's done that can be defined as positive for the state. And now he wants to tax us more so he can spend more just to tax us more. Vote this guy out and vote Johnson out.
Democrat voters don’t seem to understand running a basic business, or just don’t care. Good businesses do everything possible to keep expenses manageable (unlike Government), but most costs in one way or another eventually get passed along to the customer. Yes this includes TAXES. If they can’t, they go out of business. (TLDR. Enjoy your $880M cost of living increase Illinois!)
I'd love to see all major corporations leave Chicago.
