      Prolly one of the best final matches of all yugioh tourneys history, even better including the history of Brake and Schmidt.

    30:20 did joshua activate marella and not dump something from his deck? Can he do that?

    • @luckyilagged2424

      I noticed that too.. Im very sure you have to send

    • @Don_Mindfreak
      @Don_Mindfreak 7 років тому +2

      yeah, it seemed like both players forgot about that and for joshua it was just about summoning the paleozoic
      he had enough targets in his deck though and he won shortly after, so it's really irrelevant tbh

    • @dante9284
      @dante9284 7 років тому +4

      Thank god he still had targets. Not that I doubt someone like joshua, but even the possibility of illegal activation --> win would have ruined what was a great game a well deserved tournament win.

    Would have Been Nice if the commentators actually explained the cards These guys played. I have no idea whats going on.

    • @Sehon13Ultd
      @Sehon13Ultd 7 років тому +16

      Slimjimm281 you expect them to explain every single card? 90% of the competitive playerbase knows what these cards do, and that's the target audience of this video.

    • @LJW1912
      @LJW1912 7 років тому +4

      I've been watching Magic broadcasts recently, and they show the cards on screen and/or explain what they do, in like Pro Tours or Grand Prix, which is clearly for professionals, so I don't get why YuGiOh wouldn't... People who are trying to watch these to understand the competitive game (such as myself) are so confused

      I agree, I mean, okay not explaining cards that were relevant for like one year, like toad or drident.. but the infernoroids.. no idea what they do

    • @marvinehre9770
      @marvinehre9770 2 роки тому +1

      They usually explain the stuff and show the cards in the earlier rounds.

    Lol it's kind of funny I always figured there would be a day in yugioh where decks would get so crazy that the amount of resources in your deck was more important than playing less cards to increase consistency. We are at the level where 60 card decks are now the best, no longer 40. On the other hand, maybe it has a lot to do with how broken grass is greener is.

    • @Sehon13Ultd
      @Sehon13Ultd 7 років тому +13

      ED0NCULATI0N _ they don't play 60 to increase their resources dude. They play 60 because of grass looks greener. Educate yourself.

    While it didn't change anything, at 6:52 he does change where his trap card is set which i believe is illegal, you think they would catch something like that in the finals.

  • @scourgeeater
    @scourgeeater 7 років тому +1

    why did he negate the pot... like what

    • @YuGiOhTunisie
      @YuGiOhTunisie 7 років тому +3

      Sometimes, not giving him that +1 is Critical.

    • @scourgeeater
      @scourgeeater 7 років тому

      True but at the same time, in situations like this, unless the card they're playing is going to directly answer the board there is no reason to negate. Especially against a deck like Paleozoic which usually answers boards 1 monster at a time with 1 for 1s it would've taken more than 1 card to clear the board had he not negated the pot.
