I don't know what Corey talking about but as a fan that stays in Florida. I'd rather win the state than win a conference Championship. Not just for personal reasons but for recruiting also. Beating your rival will always matter

I say win the state and conference. You have to win the conference to secure a guaranteed spot in the playoffs.

I believe he is talking about how important the playoff bye is, and how it helps fsu get closer to winning a national championship. Which is in fact true.

yes it definitely does, especially the "its not as important" as the next game... Doesn't make any sense because if you lose the acc championship game as well as lose to Florida your chances of a playoff team diminish very quickly as they would take that as a sign that the acc isn't as good as the sec per usual

I've watched it several times he does break his wrist. It's a quick snap. But that's a new point because like Corey said the bat came all the way around past the plate it was in the field of

We all know why Taggert was hired ! It was a joke and his time here was a slogan that never materialized and he did nothing to make athletes responsible on and off field , do their job in the classroom and play the game correctly if you are representing FSU! As for who inherited the worst situation they were equally as dismal and clearly MCN was only one capable of doing the right things! He established what he was wanting to see on field, in the community and in classroom . He got the time to rebuild and bring FSU back to the standards set by Coach Bowden ! It is imperative that coaching staffs need to trust each other, work together, fix the issues and don’t make excuses!

1:40:58 - Shamneful. Absolutely shameful. Taggart inherited an absolute disaster from Jimbo and this guy knows it.

Agree we were a disaster when Taggart arrived. Also, I hated he was fired so soon.
However, listen to Jeff’s comments right after Ira’s statement. He’s alluding to the coaches on Taggart’s staff hating each other and not working together, how poorly recruiting and recruiting visits were handled, etc. If Taggart was a leader, organized, etc., he’d have been given more time, I believe.

He got fired from FAU never deserved the job in the first place

Yes he did take over a bad situation. However he did absolutely nothing to improve it. In fact he made it worse.
I could go on and list the bevy of reasons I believe this but they've all been documented.

@@michaelspadaccini1415 Jimbo had coaches hating each other too. He eventually got rid of many of his first set of coaches too. Jeff was just cherry-picking something to justify a screwjob. The excuses used to fire Willie could be used to justify any coach's firing. Fisher was also accused of being very disorganized in the beginning, however he was given more than a year and a half to do his job. I enjoyed your reply.

@@LKnolesNS7125 By the time he arrived at FAU, he was a broken man. His mistreatment at FSU shattered him. You focus on his failure at FAU but completely ignore the success that he'd had at his previous stops. All were complete disasters that he was given time to fix, which he did.
