In the context of amusement rides, air time, or airtime, refers to the time during which riders of a roller coaster or other ride experience either frictionless or negative G-forces. The negative g-forces that a rider experiences is what creates the sensation the rider feels of floating out of their seat. With roller coasters, air time is usually achieved when the train travels over a hill at speed. There are different sensations a rider will feel depending on the ride being an ejector or floater airtime ride.
Air time is a result of the effects of the inertia of the train and the riders: as the train goes over a hill transitioning from an ascent into a descent guided by the rails, the inertia of the relatively loosely-attached riders causes them to momentarily continue upwards, resulting in the riders being lifted out of their seats. The duration of air time on a particular hill is dependent on the velocity of the train, gravity, and the radius of the track's transition from ascent to descent. Zero-G (where the net vertical G-force is 0) is achieved when the downward acceleration of the train is equal to that due to gravity; where the downward acceleration is greater, negative Gs arise.
The zero-gravity roll is a roll specifically designed to create the effect of weightlessness and thereby produce air time.
Air time is generally understood to fall under two categories: "floater" air time and "ejector" air time. Floater air time provides passengers with the sensation of gently floating upwards, which can be described as near perfect weightlessness. Ejector is more violent and sudden, producing a sharp moment of negative g-forces lifting riders up off their seats.
    best regards from Germany
btw: Phantasialand = Fantasialand like you pronounced it at min: 23:05. There are more than 100 Parks in Germany like: Tripsdrill, Holiday Park, Eruopa Park, Heide Park, Hansa Park, and many many more. Read below for some of them.
    Other Parks for example are:
    Europa Park in Rust
Right at the top as the best amusement park in Germany is Europapark Rust - both in terms of popularity and size in a comparison of German amusement parks. Only Disneyland Paris is larger. On the "only" 95-hectare site, visitors travel across the eponymous continent in the blink of an eye. On foot, they travel from Greece to Switzerland, Scandinavia and Italy, among other places. Europapark Rust can also boast a superlative that is not to be sneezed at: with fifteen different roller coasters coming soon, this German amusement park ranks first in Europe in terms of the number of roller coasters.
    Heide Park in Soltau
The largest amusement park in northern Germany is not only known there. Located in the middle of the Lüneburg Heath, peace and tranquility are out of the question here. 1.5 million visitors board the Heide Park Resort every year, for example to combine thrills with speed on the wooden roller coaster "Colossos" or in "Scream". Heide Park is definitely one of the best amusement parks in Germany.
    Playmobil Fun Park
    Serengeti Park Hodenhagen
A safari in the middle of Lower Saxony? That's no longer a utopia. More than 1,500 free-living animals now live on 200 hectares in the town north of Hanover. A short vacation at Serengeti Park involves driving around the grounds in your own car or on one of the buses, and no one should be surprised on a visit to this German children's adventure park if a giraffe or rhino peers curiously into the vehicle.
    Belantis Leipzig
The largest amusement park in eastern Germany is located just outside the city of Leipzig. Covering 27 hectares, Belantis Amusement Park entertains visitors with more than 60 attractions and shows in eight themed worlds. In the "Valley of the Pharaohs", visitors are taken to the realm of the ancient Egyptians. At the "Beach of the Gods", the Greek mythical heroes take center stage. The "Flight of the Gods" is the only one of its kind in the world where visitors soar 22 meters into the air and then return to the solid ground with their very own flight maneuvers.
    Legoland Germany
There is something for every age at Legoland Germany in Günzburg. Here, not only the little people of building block playing age feel well entertained. In addition to the nerve-racking rides, detailed models of famous landmarks - built from Lego bricks - may be admired here. For example, the Berlin TV Tower, Neuschwanstein Castle, the Venetian Rialto Bridge and the Munich Allianz Arena are real eye-catchers in this, one of the best, German amusement parks.
    Movie Park Germany
One of the best amusement parks in Germany can be found in the Ruhr area. For movie fans and adventure freaks alike, it is no unknown address - Movie Park Deutschland in Bottrop-Kirchhellen. 4D movie spectacles, cinema and TV stars and fast-paced highlights - it's all part of the cinematic German theme park. SpongeBob, Dora, Jimmy Neutron and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles amuse visitors on the grounds. Those who attend the all-new live horror experience "The Walking Dead Breakout" have to endure a high creep factor.
    Tropical Islands
Tropical climes in the middle of Brandenburg and in the world's largest cantilevered hall - that sounds improbable, but these become real at Tropical Islands in Krausnick in the Spreewald. The indoor paradise promises bathing fun, relaxation and splashy spectacles, and of course delivers. Whether in the Tropical Village, the South Seas or the Bali Lagoon - the water level, the sandy beach and the temperature are just right everywhere.
    Bavaria Filmstadt
In the Bavaria Filmstadt studios of the same name, countless classics have been captured on film reel: "Das Boot", "The Neverending Story", "Oedipussi", "Schtonk", "Perfume", "Asterix and Obelix against Caesar" and many more. In Bavaria Filmstadt, visitors immerse themselves in the fascinating world of film and its facets, stroll through the sets of their favorite films, which they only know from the big screen or the monitor, and learn a lot about special effects and technology.

The Efteling is located in the Province North-Brabant. The reason it's called 'north' is because Belgium also has a province called Brabant below North Brabant that was once called South-Brabant from 1815 to 1830 when Belgium was part of the Netherlands.
A flying coaster is a hanging coaster but one were you are in sort of a superman position and get a 'flying feeling'. Unlike the traditional hanging coasters they are quite rare in ThemeParks. Air time is the moment you experience negative G's and get lifted out of your seat against the restraints. Many coaster fans really like the feeling of coming out of your chair.
Phantasia means fantasy so the name in English is Fantasyland. The pronunciation the video creators used in the beginning of the video is the correct one.

Was at Toverland NL last Week because they have a Halloween Special in October but no one beats Phantasialand in theming.
Both Walibi (Be/Nl) are missing on this map

Been to the park about 30-40 times already, and it never gets old or boring as they’re always building new stuff with F.L.Y. and Taron being people‘s favourites rn 😊
Also, the S in Phantasia is a voiced „S“ as in FantaSy, at least in German 😉

    Hello Amy and Charlie...
I have been to Phantasialand a couple of times..liked it ..but I don't like the roller coasters..afraid of highs..
In my country Netherlands we don't have roller coasters where people walk underneath .because of safety ..all here made behind fenses...
Efteling is in the province North Brabant...
I love both your video's...and watch as many as i can..
    Greetings from Maastricht The Netherlands

GREAT seeing you and Amy in a video together!!!
PHANTASIALAND... The narrator starts out by saying Phantay-sialand, then Phan-tasha-land and finally Phan-tazia-land.
You slay me Charlie!! Flying like on drones with a pre-flight path programmed into them. We aren't THAT advanced yet! lol Plus if it was available, we WOULD have heard about it!!! 😂🤣😂
"Airtime, refers to the time during which riders of a roller coaster or other ride experience either frictionless or negative G-forces." Like feeling weightless...
Charlie, all that plumbing you saw was just for effect in that one room which looked like a laboratory or some kinda story, to me.
I'm sorry Amy but it's not both a waterpark and theme park, just an amusement park. There aren't water slides, lazy river, etc. It just has some water rides.
    Again, nice and fun vid!!

Probably someone explained already but here goes nothing: Airtime is the feeling of weightlessness you get, where you are basically hovering in the air in your seat. Its a clever use of the forces to cancel each other out on the ride so it feels like you are floating.

The park itself is about 42-44 ancres, rest is parking lot. And for americans the pronounciation would be like "Fun-tah-si-a(w) l-a(u)nt"
