Hi Tony, I am working on establishing a mobile PT clinic, and also am gathering everything I need to be credentialed with Medicare. I opened a business bank account with my LLC but they only gave me starter checks without my LLC name and address on the checks, so I am trying to order checks that have my LLC on them. The problem is, when I established my LLC I established it with my personal apartment address, and this is the address that is on my CP 575 G. But I have since changed my LLC address to a virtual mailbox, and I want to put this new address on my checks. Is it going to be OK with Medicare that the addresses are different, as long as the LLC name on the checks match the name on the CP 575 G?
Thanks so much Tony! I had a question about Medicare b billing. Say I bill 4 units of NM Reed in state of Colorado. The reimbursement calculator states reimbursement is $111.84. Will Medicare pay that percentage in full? Or do they pay 80% of it (89.47) Should I charge 139.80 per 4 units and Medicare pays 80% at $111.84 and supplemental/client pays the other 20%? Hope this makes sense! I’m a bit confused about the amount I can charge as a Medicare therapist. Thank you so much!!
Thank you so much for your concise and sage information. I would be interested to see a video of how you you would recommend Leaving a large practice that has done all your credentialing and contracting and starting your own LLC. Asking for a friend…

Can a clinician located in Florida provide telehealth services to a client based in Florida while the main clinic is situated in New Mexico? And can the main clinic bill for the services provided in this situation?
Hi Tony thanks for your videos!!! I would like to start mobile PT clinic, I have the personal NPI and will soon be getting my PTAN. Do I still need to get the type 2 NPI? TIA!
Hi , I am PT practicing in Arizona, I need to get credentialling for my telehealth practice. Considering it telehealth I don't have any physical location of the clinic , How can I get credentialed as a telehealth PT provider?
Good afternoon Tony, I have been struggling for three years to figure out how to apply for all the things that you said I am a home care agency trying to get billed and for whatever reason when I put the numbers in, it doesn’t have the number that’s associates with my type of business. am I looking in the wrong spot?
I am sorry, I don't understand what you are asking. When you say "figure out how to apply" do you mean how to apply to become a contracted Medicare provider? When you say "home care agency" do you mean to bill under Medicare Part A? What discipline?
Do I have to enroll for Medicare and Medicaid as a new NP myself if I am not opening my private practice yet but planning to work for doctor’s private practice or urgent care? Thank you
Hello Tony, thank you so much for all your videos. They have helped so much. I do have a question on starting PECOS. I am a PTA starting a pediatric outpatient PT clinic. I have hired a PT to work and supervise us. Will I be able to enroll my clinic under a group/clinic and have her sign up for PECOS and then just reassign her benefits to the clinic? I do have our group NPI and EIN. Thank you
Yes. Exactly. You will get a group NPI and PTAN. The therapist you hired will get a personal NPI and PTAN and you will reassign her personal PTAN to the group.
Yes very true my application got held up because the IRS filing had no LLC but the Medicare application had LLC. it didn't match. And I had to fix it to go through. Very small issue caused big hold up.
Oh man, this is the exact question I was coming to ask because that is the issue we seem to have. Our IRS letter has no "LLC" after our company's name but everything else has the "LLC." I guess I have my depressing answer now. Thank you!

What if I wanna be a Medicare vendor

Correct, the address won't matter, but the name on your checks must match.
@@LearnMedicareBilling awesome thank you so much
You just helped me catch the name mistake before I enrolled. I have some fixing to do, but at least it's before I enrolled with Medicare?! Thank You~
Glad I could help!

Omg getting that letter was SO difficult from BOA. Ultimately I ordered checks just to make it easier.
Yeah. I have a couple sneaky snake tricks up my sleeve for people who get stuck.

If you haven't found it then here is: nppes.cms.hhs.gov/IAWeb/warning.do

If you plan to bill under your business then you need a Type 2 NPI before you apply for your Medicare PTAN.
My employer is doing the PTAN application for me so I’ll be getting it soon. Is it going to be a problem if I get the type 2 NPI afterwards?
thanks!

This is helpful. Where can I find the Medicare INA account web address? I am searching for it
Looks like NPI and checking all match. TIN doesn’t have PLLC. How do we fix this?
It is easier to change the NPI registry and your bank account than it is to change your IRS letter.

As soon as you pass your boards you can get an NPI.

Hey Victoria I’m a COTA and I’m trying to do a similar company. I’d like to network with you if possible

The bank letter cannot have a PO Box address
Then can I use my home address?
Hire someone to do all this for you 😃
