I sat here patiently waiting for some very unique idea to take place and turn into something spectacular, and what happened? Absolutely nothing!, except I wasted 6 minutes of my life I will never get back again...... why in the heck would somebody go to this much work to make something so impractical, hinges for what reason?, something that takes up so much space, very small storage area, why in the heck didn't they just take Soup cans, have quite a bit more volume for storage of screws, be able to tuck them under the bench, and carry them to wherever you're doing your project? I think that people have just too much time on their hands, or just trying to come up with bait and click videos which turn out to be a waste of time!.......Dang! 🙈
Ironic. Making that comment was also more trouble than it's worth. Especially because all the pointless comments like that (and this) one add to engagement, which is exactly why this video ended up recommended to me. And who cares? It's a shop shelf. They're supposed to be uniquely cobbled. The shop is an anything-goes space. UA-cam user pro-tip: skip immediately to the end of every video.
That’s not what I would consider a good cast iron frying pan. A good one has the handle cast in with the pan, and there’s no machine marks on them. You could see the machine marks on the bottom of that pan. Not worth 10 cents.
Cool. The curvature of the pan makes it much easier to get screws out of the bottom. The only thing missing is dust protection. I've moved to covered containers with clear tops. HFT Storehouse lg, med, sm portable parts storage bins 93927, 93928, 64811, 95807.
Tune in next week when we learn how to cooks eggs using the 4 jars that we saved with this frying pan trick.
That's what coffee cans and old jars are for...
Do ya'll know you can take those apart and weld them together and make a frying pan?
LOL! LMAO!! 😆
@@cwitham69 ⅞ 😂
If that’s cast iron. You’ll be wasting your time trying to weld that.

Cutting up the frying pan is to get it away from the wife so she can't hit you with it
You are a comedian. haha. Taking a dunb thing and making it funny.
Thank goodness I fast forwarded through it. Waste of time and effort.
Unfortunately I watched the entire thing. I should have read your comment first . 6 minutes 21 seconds I'm never getting back

Few people know?? Even fewer care
Agree
Ridiculous
Breathing in all that Teflon dust was worth it in the end lol

What is hilarious is he thinks it’s a “brilliant idea”
Could get some storage bins to do the same and save a lot of time doing something ridiculous as this .
C'est vrai Tout ça pour ranger des vis !!!
AH, yes. The secret of the old frying pan. Must every step of construction be so completely chronicled ?
Most pointless waste of time and a pan I’ve ever seen and unfortunately 10 minutes of my life watching it
That's wh 3:58 y I look at the comments first!! Lmao.
Nice! But, me i use empty coffee cans
Oh..... now that I know the secret, I will never be the same......
Very cool...
But, I gotta ask... Why the hinges?
So you can access the lower bin(s) without the upper bin(s) getting in the way
Can I have my six minutes back?
If only there were more frying pan
I can't believe that I was so stupid as to actually watch that click bait.
Can you please be more stupid than me. It makes me feel smarter.
Thank god few people know this !
Before he cut it up, he fried his brains in it
Seems like a lot of trouble and a waste of a good frying pan when you could easily make the container for the screws entirely out of the plywood.
Looks like a project an 11 year old would dream up...4 minutes of my life I'll never get back.
I thought it was quite unique, (not just any old storage boxes), sure its a lot of work, but I'd have one in my workshop. Thanks for the idea DIY REAL
Seriously, I can't believe i watched this, that's 4+ minutes I'll never get back...
More trouble than it's worth. A coffee can with lid works, as does a jar with lid. Just set them on a shelf.

at least your wife wont hit you over the head with her frying pan cuz you destroyed it to hold some screws.
Thanks for sharing, great idea
Brilliant idea.
Why not leave the screws in their boxes - they'd be labelled as well then!
Don't worry, your secret is safe with me...
you should never use a grinding disc for cutting and it is easier to buy linbins for storage of nuts and bolts
That's about 3 minutes of my life I Will never get back
That's 6 minutes and 20 seconds of my life I'll never get back.....What a total waste of time.
Very good idea to install it into a cabinet, close to the door, on the opposite side of the hinges. Thank you.
De walt must be shitting themselves if these are standards for storing screws...
Walmart sells plastic containers, cups and paint buckets etc real cheap and faster to hang on your wall
Out of the frying pan and into a waste of time and effort
Why?
Awesome
I once dug a pond with a car jack and a pair of scissors. Oh wait, no, I didn't because that would be silly.
Survey says....very stupid idea. Just cut the pan in half, and save the hinge. Even that is a stupid idea.
Why is the plywood not painted? So close to being so brilliant...
The joining edges should have also been cut at 45 degrees.

It looks like aluminum.
not to mention the teflon fumes from grinding that pan :S

Why the hinges you could have just used old bowls screwed them to a board and been finished in about 5 minutes
Title should have been how to turn a worthless old pot into a more worthless screw holder.
Considering time cheaper to buy storage bins
👍👍👍
I use these things called mason jars, butter bowls, tin cans etc. What's the point.
thats 6.20 minutes ill never get back ooooft
I did'nt fast forward big mistakes.
Teflon is a forever chemical so turning it in to dust is very bad for the human body if ingested, once it's in your system it will never leave!
