Although i did this ... its not advised, the internals need to be able to dump the stored current. If for any reason you dont allow it to spark, you can do damage to the internal capacitors. Running it high speed is done at your own risk. After this film , i sent this magneto away for a full rebuild as it failed!!!

Does the same magnetos comes with old british motorcycles as well?
Basically yes. They all work the same.
