If I'm not mistaken Guyatones are made by Kent guitars, which by the way, were pretty good for the money back in the 60s, when I first saw and played one. Anyway, they were the only ones we could afford back then.
Buegeleisen and Jacobson, an American importer, sold guitars by Hagstrom, Guyatone, and other overseas manufacturers under the Kent brand name in the 1960s. Most of the really cool '60s Guyatone designs, like this one, were made for the Japanese market.

they used Avalon guitars. Japanese, i think they might’ve made them in the same factory as these
