I really enjoyed the play through. Thanks for the inspiration!
My dog here in England says hi. She wont stop barking now that she heard yours 😂
Really liking the way that AW is working, everything seems more Killy and yet more survivable. Spectre V1 & V2 often felt like a walk in the park for Tier 1 forces.
Yes I agree will be interesting to see if Baba Yaga can survive the rules update;-)
Picked up the rule set thanks to your videos. Been looking for a modern rule set that wasn’t a simulation and fun for both players. Love your terrain setups, not only for AW but all your bat reps.
GG. Fun to watch! That sniper definitely went for the highscore. I enjoy the mechanic of the smoke grenades.
This was spectacular, thank you for the demo vid!
Good game. Was fun to watch. :)
Great video. Would love to see you guys try INX by enemy spotted studios!
Great video as usual! As per the overwatch rule, it really seems to be activated by enemies moving into your LOS. I think that the Tactical Action Phase is mentioned in the overwatch rule because some of those tactical actions actually require some sort of movement. Cheers!
Great game but at 24:32 you moved your vehicle slightly to the right which only ran over 1 guy but the birds eye view shot previously showed it would run over the 3 middle guys. I saw it and thought it odd, apologies if I missed something there.
It’s hard to see the angles we see from the cameras. It’s possible we could have got one or two more
@@tabletopcp You're right, I'm sorry I didn't mean to nit pick. Recently found your channel, watched a load of your modern table top uploads loving the battle reports. Looking forward to seeing more.
Good stuff again. As you said, a lot of the rules got tested, especially the medical stuff!!
The new Asym Warfare really does feel a lot like how y'all played SpecOpsv2. Nice to see that those home rules y;all were using got picked up in the new rule set. I think I missed it at one point - whats the Rule of 8 y'all keep referencing?
So the rule of 8 means to pass command and agility tests you now roll a d6 and add your command or agility stat and it has to total an 8 or more to pass. The old way you had to roll equal to or under your agility of command stat to pass.
Where do y'all source your modern cars, some sort of diecast company? Which scale? Beautiful table.
A mix it die cast toys from the drug store. Some are plastic cars that came in a walking dead scenery set. Not sure what scale they are are
@@tabletopcpIf you are playing in 28mm the cars are probably 1/43 scale (this scale works pretty well with Spectre, INxCountry, Miska Minatures, etc.)
If you are wearing a ghilly suit is it a good idea to run up stairs and be not cammed?
Yes I think unless the guy had a lot of aspidistras you would stand out
Nice videos. One suggestion though, you may want to place the rules on Wargame Vault, not just Drivethru RPG. You will get more eyes on the ruleset from wargame players instead of RPG players. And it won't get drowned out from the deluge of new products that appear daily on Drivethru RPG.
They are not my rules. I so r have any say on where they get posted. But good advice.
Better than V2?
I think it is. The changes to cover make a huge difference. Militia are viable now.
Nice to see modern miniature rules, more of this and the new version of Specter too?
Idea for future videos to help viewers: When throwing the shooting/defence dice, calculate the skill numbers/adjustments _before throwing_ and set dice to show them in that sides color.
Much easier for viewer to figure out what the results are when they can sum up the dice numbers.
I haven’t been overly impressed by what I’ve seen of the new spectre ops 3 rules. But I’ll reserve judgement until Travis plays them through. Asymmetric warfare looks to be evolving nicely though from SO v2
