*Lightning doesn't strike the ground* to spawn the 4 horsemen, it strikes the skeleton horse trap mob. *There should be no fire.*

The fire is because when it is thunder and lightning out. Sometimes when lightning strikes it spawns skeletons and skeleton horses.

Skeleton horsemen are spawned through lightning strikes, and the lightning caused the fire you see in this set
2:43 The fire is supposed to represent where the lightning struck. In-game, the player can stumble across a skeleton hoarse all by itself. If the player get too curious and approaches the horse, lightning strikes and summons the squad of skeleton horsemen.
The fire is from a lightening strike. That's what also created the enchanted skeletons,

Hey Jang, could you make a video about the increased GBP prices? You did some prince analysis before, I'd be interested in what you cold find out with research.
Plus this $40 price verses the £50 (equal to $65.94) is ridiculous.
SimplyMikus Equally though there are cases where it is the other way round. For example the T-rex transport has roughly 600 pieces yet in the us it costs $80 but in the uk it costs £60. Lego vary it per model partly because they look at how much people might be willing to pay in each country.
$80 dollars converts into £60.78
With the other skins you can mix and match pieces to make less steves/alexes and more customs. Also, even if frowned upon by some people u can buy knockoffs that have different skins: e.g. i found a set that had a wicked looking knight as the skin which was awesome even for a fake.
This type of skeleton jockeys appear when some special lightnings struck a skeleton horse,thats the reason for the fire

Yeah! I haven't seen an "End" related set since the Ender-Portal. They could then add Endermites, Shulkers and the Elytra! Would be great too to include a more affordable set because a ship could get Expensive. By the way if we are talking of Ships, what about an Aquatic based Beach of some sorts, with Seaweed, Turtles, Fish and a Shipwreck with a Treasure map!

In Minecraft, there is an Easter egg if lightning strikes a skeleton (or the skeleton horse? I don’t remember how exactly it works), and it spawns four skeletons on horses, called the four horsemen, like that statue in real life.
If the lightning strikes a _horse_ it spawns 4 skeleton horsemen.

In Minecraft, if you fall on a bed you bounce so i believe that is the reason for the sliding trap door

when I first saw the box art I wasn't too impressed.
But seeing the reconfiguration options, and how much usable space is actually hidden under other things in the default configuration changes my mind.
Does anyone feel that they need to make battle packs for Minecraft? Like skeletons, zombies, skin packs, maybe even include mods like take axls body and make a mutant zombie from the crafting dead mod

If a child only gets one Minecraft official set, as their parents feel Minecraft, being block based, will only buy one set. So, most sets come with Steve and/or Alex. LEGO is a toy, and TLG designs the sets they release to retail stores, outside the Ideas and some Creator sets, for children. The LEGO Group includes different desired armors (armours?), weapons, and unique molded and/or brick-built mobs to satisfy buyers of all ages. I find the printed items in Minecraft sets to be great. Piece for piece, there are more printed pieces in Minecraft officially licensed sets than any other theme or sub theme. This fact alone may contribute to slightly higher prices on certain sets to offset costs overall. The number of mobs in this set makes this set well worth the money. In addition, this build will look great with other builds having similar modular construction.

I agree that the set is not the most detailed, however it seems to me as a very nice part pack at this price, and also its a good starting point for those new to minecraft sets.
The second layout you used was much better, and meant that people would drop through the trap door into lava.
The trap door can be a redstone contaption of sticky pistons with wood with pressure plates.
My favorite new minecraft set out of the 3.

I don't know if anyone is still in the comment section, but i have a question, does anyone think this is the best way to get a Skeleton Trap, or should I wait until they make another set based around it, or re-release the skeleton horse. Because the set is retired (I am typing in August 2019) and cheapest i can find it is $45. I'm unsure because it was released in the later half of 2018, and is somehow retired, and I'm realy only interested in the Skeleton Trap in this set. if the amount of skeletons are what Lego would release a s a Skeleton Trap, please tell me.
Edit, I've decided ill buy it, I'll update it again if I've bought it.
hey Jang the fire is actually from a lightning bolt because the skeleton horse with a skeleton on it only spawns when a lightning bolt strikes a skeleton and if it does its super rare.
Skeleton Horses come from Skeleton Traps, which are disguised as a normal white horse, but if you walk tooo close, lightning will strike the horse and spawn 4 Skeleton Horses.
XD the funny thing is that if somebody fell from that trap they wouldn't even take fall damage cus the bed is underneath the trap LOL
Under the fire there is some lava so perhaps the lava caught the ground on fire

When i was playing today I saw skeleton horse and when I go to see it closelly some lighting hitted it and it become 3 skeletons on horses elite😐

It would be good if they would even make skin packs of the original free skin packs that come in Minecraft with all the difrent steve's and Alex's that are in that it would be nice even to have that to make custom outfits as well as getting some packs to make custom player skins.

The trap door could be made using pistons in game but remember this is Lego so they probably didn't know how to make double piston extenders
If only Steve could have a new skin =.= Or better, new characters! Not sure I'll be getting this set, I'll get the Skull one for sure (NEW SKINS!!!) and still debating on the Bedrock one.
Heck, even give us a Steve without sleeves and I'd be happy

Really don’t see why they don’t use a blank version of the skeleton torso mold from Ninjago for the skeletons here. It would match with the blocky style better than the stock round torso they use.
Wren Harrison and they could also use the skeleton legs with the boots to make it appear like they have boots on

The flame is likely due to the "skeleton trap" skellies who when approached will be hit by lightning and out comes 4 horsemen (equipped like the one in the set).

I don't know man. Up to you. Personally, I'd get this as you get the skeleton horse, but if you want some more "Farm" type of mobs instead of hostile ones, then get the farm cottage.

This summer Minecraft wave is very boring to me. I get the feeling that Lego is trying to keep things classic, but they're just rehashing the same biomes, structures, and mobs at this point. I think the theme would really benefit if they tried touching upon 1.9 and beyond. We still have no End City, Woodland Mansion, or any of the Update Aquatic features Lego-ifyed yet.
