So true I been saying this for a while when you keep bringing this question up it kinda bothering them, cause in a way yes your saying they lost their accents but they could be mistaking it as you saying their not Aussie enough and that’s a lie. Musicians, by definition, have a “musical ear” which picks up accents very quickly. They can’t help it. They need to watch more Aussie movies... or hang out with Chris Hemsworth.
That’s what Ashton was explaining in a interview English is a universal accent for some reason it’s taught in different countries I know. So that’s another reason for the switching it’s merely for helping others understand not like they lost them. I don’t have a accent well maybe ( they say people in Michigan does but i don’t hear it) but not living in another country besides America. Idk how it feels from your prospective to hear other accents and try to fully get what they are saying.
