Muela Hydro Power Station, Lesotho - Mountain Passes of South Africa

This hydro electric power station produces 51% of Lesotho's energy needs. It is located in the district of Butha-Buthe, not far from the western end of the Moteng Pass. Set in the mountains overlooking a scenic valley, a guided visit and walk down the 700m tunnel to the see the three massive turbines is worthwhile experience. vimeo.com/979129773?share=copy
